We stayed in the Gardener's cottage for an excellent week in April. The accommodation is well equipped and comfortable for two families (8 of us). The owner was very helpful and informative about the area and if you're into cycling but don't fancy too many of the 'Dorset Hills' she'll point you in the right direction! The location is excellent... More

Another fantastic week at Norburton Hall. Norburton Hall has a small number of individual cottages available, we always choose the Hayloft which is ideal for the two of us with our little Westie Alfie. The cottages are well maintain with all the comforts you would hope to expect when you go on holiday, you will not be disappointed. Lovely quiet... More

Yes, we have 2 dog friendly cottages - the Hayloft and the Gardener's Cottage - and others that are pet-free ensuring that we can meet all preferences so thanks for your comments on that. Wha a lovely peaceful and luxurious haven our stay at Norburton Hall was. We booked the Hayloft cottage and were very comfortable. Totally relaxing and so quiet. A lovely 20 min walk to the beach and some good pubs in the village. Note: do book early if you want an evening meal at either pub. The village is quiet and... More

Our family of 10 spent a lovely bank holiday weekend at Norburton Hall - dreadful weather but the spacious and cosy accommodation and beautiful grounds meant that it hardly mattered. Our two small children loved the gardens and the chickens, and child-free uncles and aunties could retreat to the calm of the big sitting room to read or look at... More

Thank you for your review - loved the comments about exploring the gardens and pretending to live in a stately home. I'm glad the cottage seemed to tick all the boxes for your family - we hope to welcome you here again. More

We booked the Gardener's Cottage for a long weekend as the whole family were going to a wedding in Dorset. Ten of us (including two small children) felt really at home, there was loads of space and all the facilities we could want. There was a really comfortable sitting room upstairs, but we spent a lot of time sitting around... More

We stayed in the Dairy Cottage for 4 nights. The cottage is comfortable and the gardens are beautiful. We had easy access to Burton Bradstock and the coastal path for wonderful walks along the coast. Karen gave us a warm welcome and we had everything we needed for a very relaxing break.

Thank you for another lovely review. Really pleased that your new puppy settled in well. We love the walk to the beach, too and agree it's great that both village pubs are easy to walk to and welcome dogs in the public bar and in the garden of The Three Horseshoes. We'll look forward to welcoming you back again soon! More

Our stay for New Year 2014 with friends in the Gardener's Cottage was superb! There is plenty of room for 10 adults and absolutely everything you would need is in the cottage making for a comfortable stay. We had a wonderful time at Norburton Hall in the Gardener's Cottage (he did well for himself!) was delightful and stood up well to the strain of 8 adults and boisterous dogs. Karen welcomed us and left us to it, but was there when we needed her (which we didn't). Even in the depths of winter the gardens were lovely,... More
