Our stay for New Year 2014 with friends in the Gardener's Cottage was superb! There is plenty of room for 10 adults and absolutely everything you would need is in the cottage making for a comfortable stay. Karen was welcoming, friendly and obliging and we would certainly go back. The bedrooms were cosy and comfortable, kitchen well equipped and the... More

Thank you for such a great review. Really glad that your New Year's stay with friends was really comfortable and that you had everything you needed. We've had lots of suggestions from our guests over the past 10 years and have made many additions accordingly. Very pleased that the location was ideal for you too - we love the walk... More

We had a wonderful time at Norburton Hall in the Gardener's Cottage (he did well for himself!) was delightful and stood up well to the strain of 8 adults and boisterous dogs. Karen welcomed us and left us to it, but was there when we needed her (which we didn't). Even in the depths of winter the gardens were lovely,... More

We stayed in the Hayloft , one of the rental properties, and 8 of our friends stayed in the Gardeners Cottage between Christmas and New Year. The setting is fantastic, only 15 mins walk to the beach and 5-10mins walk into the village where there are 2 very good pubs serving excellent food. The accommodation itself was first class, both... Thank you for such a glowing review Keith. It was great to see everyone in your group having such an enjoyable time with lots of walks to the beach. Really glad to hear that everyone is planning to come back too. We often find patchy mobile phone reception in rural areas but are lucky to have a strong Vodafone signal... More

From the warm welcome to the cheery wave goodbye, this was a blissful holiday, truly self catering as it should be, Karen was there if we needed her, the luxury accommodation in The Stables was smart, modern, but very comfortable including the best bed we've had in this type of accommodation! The grounds were a lovely quiet sanctuary to stroll... More

We were very lucky to have taken one of the last bookings at Norburton Hall at the end of July 2014. Everything was perfect for my wife and two young children. We stayed in The Stables which was beautifully presented and extremely well equipped. Norburton Hall itself is a splendid looking building in extensive grounds which were very safe for... More

I can't praise Karen and the accommodation at Norburton Hall enough. We stayed - 2 adults, 1 child - at the Stables. It was perfect, from the facilities, to the ambience, to the guidebooks on the table, to the roses on the wall and the blackbird on the lawn as seen from the kitchen window while doing the washing-up. It... More

We had such a warm and hospitable welcome from Karen who was happy to take her time showing us around the property and advising us about the village. Her home is beautiful both in the buildings and the grounds. We stayed in the Dairy cottage and loved every second being in our cosy and private little bubble. We will definitely... More
