This is the second year we have used Golden Cap room for our accommodation. Its so clean, airy and fresh. Loved it. Having the small refridgerator in the room is such a plus as it allows you to bring a bottle or two to keep cool and Cyril and Linda are very amicable to help freeze ice-blocks so we could... More

We've just come home from 3 nights at the Chesil Beach Lodge, staying in the 1st floor 2-bedroom apartment. The accommodation is really lovely, a very high standard. We had 2 small dogs with us and there is a secure garden area for them to run around with the owners' 2 dogs. There are chickens in the garden as well... More

Have just returned home from a two night stay at Chesil Beach Lodge. Our room was very nicely decorated and well equipped. The hospitality tray offered a good choice of teas and instant coffee, there was even a cafetière with ground coffee and also a tea pot which I particularly appreciated. Fresh milk was supplied and packets of cereal and... More

A great place to stay. Very comfy and great to have breakfast served in your room.....mackerel with toast is terrific. I will be going back....next time with doggy. Kindly divided the king bed into twins for me and my friend.

A small family run business complex of flats and B&Bs. Very friendly and welcoming and ready to help. Welcome pack full of information of what to do and where to eat. Bright through lounge/diner and kitchen with everything you are likely to need. One queen size bedroom with ensuite shower room with a huge rectangular shower head – very handy.... More

This was our 2nd visit to Chesil Beach Lodge and we loved everything about it! The first time we had the Fossil self catering apartment, and this time we had B&B because it was all that was available at this extremely popular place. We have never been at a B&B before where they give you vouchers for your breakfast on... More

Unfortunately we were only able to stay for one night!! We stayed in cogden b&b room. Lovely welcome from the owner and we were able to check in early. Gorgeous, well decorated spacious room with huge comfy bed and lovely bedding. Great shower and other facilities. Everything is immaculate and spotlessly clean, you can tell how much pride and effort... More

We had a wonderful welcome. Then were quite overwhelmed by the impressively stunning views from 2 large windows in our room-taking in the coastline & green fields. The decor of our room was clean, fresh and tasteful. Cafetiere & homemade cake, together with our own fridge (with 'real milk') was a real treat. Even hot water bottles for the cosy... More

We found the Chesil Beach Lodge through the other Trip Avidvisor reviews and it more than lived up to our expectations. The check in process was friendly, helpful and informative. Our room was spotlessly clean and provided everything we needed and much more besides. The view was beautiful- we had breakfast at our 'in room' table overlooking the sea. And... More
