I've lost count of the amount of times my husband and I have stayed at the lodge. We normally stay in self catering, always a wonderful experience. This weekend however, we opted for a weekend in the Hive B&B room. What a superb experience, doors open at night listening to the sea and Linda, my smoked salmon muffins were delicious,... More

We stayed there about 2 years ago now, and had a wonderful time. The room was absolutely beautiful. Very spacious and airy with lovely light shades of blue and white. We had a king size bed and a wonderful view of the sea and surrounding countryside. The bathroom was modern and clean. The breakfast was a Full English brought to... More

Spent 3 nights in the Jurassic Room at Chesil Beach Lodge. Really lovely stay. Linda was friendly and took care of us. Kids enjoyed the garden and the dogs and we all loved the views and the apartment.

Just returned from two night stay in the Golden Cap Room at Chesil Beach Lodge. The room has the most amazing views of the coastline and beyond, simply stunning! A perfect comfortable retreat and the most pleasant and welcoming hosts in Linda & Cyril, will certainly go back.

Pity we only stayed here one night. We would have loved to spend more time combing the beach. Lovely views from our balcony. Probably more like a 25 minute walk to the village through the field and along he beach path but well worth it. Shorter along the road but all uphill coming back.

Stayed in the Chesil Apartment for a week in July with my husband, 2 teenagers and our two dogs. We arrived later than we had hoped but Linda was very welcoming, gave us a quick tour of the apartment and discreetly left us to it. I was so pleased with the apartment, the furnishing and decor really suiting the space... More

Had a lovely stay in the Cogden B&B room and can't understand the pettiness of the most recent reviews. Breakfast is superb and offers plenty of choice all made with fresh and local produce. They offer so many extras not seen in most 4* B&Bs, including fresh flowers, homemade cakes, chololates, fresh milk and cafeterias with ground coffee. Linda and... More

We have just returned from 6 nights at Chesil Lodge. The room was lovely. The en suite was adequate, although the basin was so small it was difficult to use. The shower was brilliant. On most days the breakfast was good, although on some days the bread used for the toast was better quality than other days. Also on some... More

The B&B room was a good size with lovely views from the juliette balcony over the sea and bay. Very clean and good housekeeping. Easy walk to the coast path and then to Hive Bay and a nice walk across a couple of fields to Burton Bradstock village. Memorable ice cream at the Hive Bay Beach Cafe. Breakfast OK but... More
