We stayed in room 302, which has a lovely view on the river. The room is pretty small, but highly OK for the price we paid (40.000 Won/night). We had a strong wifi signal in our room (but not the guesthouse's wifi). The cafe downstairs is amazing, beautifully decorated and with a lovely terrace. The bed seems to be much... More

For the amount we paid, we got more than we bargained for! An awesome cafe located at the entrance greeted us in the day when we checked in. The lady at the counter was friendly and knowledgeable about what we could do and explore in and around Danyang. I'm not entirely sure if she speaks English tho, as we communicated... More

N36°59'12" E128°22'17" This Lonely Planet and Rough Guide favourite for backpackers was called Rivertel until its renovation in 2013. It also uses the name Guesthouse Rio 127. It is a small three-story guesthouse along the river north of the bus terminal, quizzed between the high-rise Luxury and Sketch love motels. After the renovation, the ground floor became a cafe with... More

They changed the name recently to RIO 127. Good location right around the corner from the bus-station. Rooms are fine, breakfast not included. They run a Café with outside seating and a wonderful view across the river. Great chocolate and korean sweet stuff. Restaurants around the corner too.

The café area is beautiful, owner speaks great english, but isn't around much, the other staff is willing to call him though. Rooms are fine, still not renovated (visited in May, maybe it changed), looks like any other korean love motel, especially the bathroom needs some serious work. The breakfast is included and nice, great coffee, but it doesn't save... More

Lovely, but small hotel right on the river in Danyang. Room was clean but small in a great location about 1 block from the bus station and close to walks along the river, cafes and shopping along the main street. The owner and his wife speak English and are very friendly and helpful with information and other tourist needs. Our... More

My gf and I stayed there for only one night bc our main destination was Busan and Kyeongju. We regretted that we only stayed there for one night bc Danyang and Rio127 were truly the best part of our trip. The guesthouse is right on a river and super close to the bus terminal, great location! The room in the... More

This lovely place has changed it's name to RIO127. It is no longer the rivertel and the building looks completely different too. It has been refurbished and the rooms are bright, clean and fresh. There is a lovely coffee shop downstairs which serves high quality goods and has a relaxed vibe. The guesthouse is not yet clearly marked but you... More

Rivertel in Danyang has a lot of character and we had a great time staying there. Owner mr. Kim speaks very good english, which can be very convenient if you do not speak Korean. He was extremely friendly and helpful to us while we stayed at the Rivertel, helped us find the best restaurants, book a river-cruise and figure out... More

I've stayed in quite a few motels in Korea, but this was my first time in Danyang. The motel is on the riverside so the view was very pretty - the mountains in Danyang are very high! And morning mist on the river was beautiful. It's within walking distance from the bus terminal and the Cosu caves (about 10 minutes)... More
