The hotel was nice, beautiful pool, beach views, etc. Internet only available in restaurant and common areas. We loved the fancy restaurant, great guacamole and margaritas! Still one of the better places to stay but REALLY showing it's age. Shower didn't work. AC wouldn't shut off. I have stayed at hotel palmas de Cortez about 10 times. Although it's true that the hotel is not 5 stars. I usually go there for the fishing which has always been decent. can't believe all these people complaining. Guys this is raw fishing, so stop being such pusses. Catching that giant marlin makes up for all the shortcomings. More
