Grand Mayan is surely beautiful, with some definate negatives. We did not have an ocean view,... instead we looked at a garage for 8 dayss. But we expected that given it was a by one get one free condo. The Rooms are nice but definately time for a remodel the beds is HARD.. The couches in Living are more comfortable.... more

We were there for 8 days and enjoyed every minute of it after the initial timeshare presentation. They lie about length and VERY HIGH pressure to buy right then. The Grand Mayan resort is clean, well maintained and has all the features needed for a weeks relaxation. Rooms are large and comfortable despite the hard beds. We travelled with 2 young boys and extended family (4 adults, 2 children) in connection with our vacation ownership in Hilton Grand Vacation Club. HGVC gives us access to RCI properties as well and Grand Mayan was listed as one of the sites.
