Stayed there for four weeks feb. 2014 as a guest of an owner. Units were not clean when we got there, Furnishings and Appliances were substandard at best. Maid service was fine except they don't know what soap is, when they clean the floors and surfaces, only water. Restaurant food and quality was substandard. Some days they did not have... More

Bahia del Sol/ We stayed here a few years ago and liked it because it's on the beach, small resort with about fifty rooms. It's an older resort so there is always ongoing maintenance. Some rooms have been updated and are nicer, the others are more basic but fine for us. We had a few basic issues with our room like... More

We first went to Bahia in 1993 and even though it is not a spectacular resort such as Bliss or Luxx or any of the other all-inclusives, we thought it was great. Relaxing, quiet, peaceful. Over the years we saw it change from a "will it still be here next year" to " wow, they have made some improvements like... More

We stayed here in 2011 and it was great, so we booked for 2012. What a change. We requested nine months ahead for a first or second floor unit. We arrived and they put us on the third floor with a terrible spiral staircase to the bedroom on the fourth floor. It was horrible. We complained and were told they... More

My father has owned here for two decades, my first visit was this December when a family reunion was held. Though my wife and I stayed at another resort down the beach, once we first saw this place, I understood why my father loved it so very much. As it was one of the very first resorts to be built... My first trip to Nuevo Vallarta. The resort is very quiet, save for the BBQ on Tuesday night. The place was packed and the music had everyone dancing. A great party. It was over by 11. The best part of this resort is the beach. There was plenty of room and plenty of palapa chairs. I spent most of the... More

Very quiet place, not a party spot. A beautiful beach that stretches for miles. Next door at a turtle preserve they were releasing baby turtles every night (we stayed in middle of November). Really neat! Great staff. Restaurant on site was excellent, waiters would accommadate you with changes to the menu, and reasonably priced. Good restaurants within walking distance. We felt... More

We spent the first two weeks of November 2011 at this facility. The main reason to keep coming back is the people. Everyone that stays here is friendly. There are only 69 units and 21 are full time owners from various locations in the states and Canade. That means there are only 48 units available to rent. That being said,... More

We chose this resort because it's a small complex with palapas on the beach. Nothing fancy, rooms can be spartan but clean with great views from the balconies. The restaurant Seahorse is a added bonus. If after a hard day at the beach you don't feel like venturing out you you can dine there. They serve breakfast, lunch, snacks and drinks on the... More
