We stayed at the Vallarta Palace in September, it was the rainy season, but we only saw a few sprinkles one night, beautiful weather! the hotel is very nice, clean and the staff is so friendly and attentive. the food was good, but after a week the choices seemed repetative. the Asian restaurant was great, nice for a special occaison.... more

First, we are Palace Premier members, with prior stays at Le Blanc, Playacar Palace and Aventura Spa Palace. This was our first visit to PV. The Vallarta Palace (VP) holds up the Palace torch quite well along side these other facilities. I will point out a few things: Service is professional, attentive, and unintrusive. My husband and I just had a great experience at the Vallarta Palace. The service was awesome even though the hotel was almost empty. The food and drinks were great. We stayed for a long weekend (sept 4-7 2009) and had a great time with old friends. Service was great, food was excellent; hotel has 3 restaurants and a snack bar. We'll most probably choose palace resorts again for our next high school reunion. more

The Vallarta Palace is a nice resort--big pool, nice variety of restaurants, and good service. However, it is not the place to go for a honeymoon, unless you really enjoy screaming and splashing in the pool, squealing and running in the restaurants, and being hit by jenga pieces in the bar (at all hours).
