We ate here twice this year, having stayed for one night and eaten several other times in years past, The food is sublime and the service and surroundings are to match. Between us over the two meals we covered all three of the set menus .The main one at 39 euros is five courses of delight. The first is homemade... More

A peaceful welcoming no fuss hotel. Comfortable, charming room in French style. Wonderful to come to after a day's biking in the region and be welcomed by Sarah and have a delicious meal, cooked by Thierry, on the outdoor terrace. A great package.

If you are looking for a place to stay in the Dordogne with simple French charm, this is the place for you. I stayed here as a (female) solo cyclist and it was perfect. I could cycle all day, then enjoy a home-cooked French dinner and great wine in the hotel's charming and quaint restaurant. The hotel is located next... More

We had such a delicious meal in this restaurant. Best place I found in Dordogne. The food and the service are great, as well as the location and atmosphere. A bit pricy (37 euros/menu) but it's definitely worth it. Advisible 100%

This is a favourite gathering place for us; an excellent restaurant in which to enjoy the fine food and conviviality of friends. Sarah is a welcoming and thoroughly unflappable hostess. Wonderfully warm atmosphere in which to enjoy the fine regional Perigordian cuisine prepared by husband Thierry. Highly recommended.

Wonderful dinner in what appeared to be the middle of nowhere! Warning- do not depend on your GPS alone for this one. We did not stay here, but went for a delectable dinner. Charming hostess is English and the food was well worth the trip.

This place is a lovely surprise. It is very small (only 5 rooms) and there is nothing around, but it is a great base for hiking, cycling, or driving around the lovely French countryside. It has great food (including vegetarian options) and very pleasant hosts. The decor is simple, but very elegant. Overall, a great find.

My wife and I stayed at this auberge for three night in September with two of her cousins and spouses while we attended a family wedding. The accommodation is unpretentious and modestly priced. Rooms were clean with excellent bathrooms. Our hosts run a fine restaurant in conjunction with the auberge and we enjoyed a lovely meal together on our first... More
