We staid two nights in la Cabana de Puerto Angel. The hotel has excellent service, a clean swimmimg pool, and a quiet environment in a very busy seaside resort. The owner allowed us to stay until 18:00 hours for a reasonable fee as we has to take a night bus in Pochutla. Breakfast on the high terrace of the hotel... More

I stayed at La Cabana for 3 nights in Feb. It was a very nice hotel, staff is friendly and responsive . Rooms were clean, well furnished and comfortable. The rooms have air conditioners, but the breezes through the windows were most pleasant. The restaurant wasn't open while I visited, but there are several beach-side restaurants available with simple, but... More

Quaint, safe, very clean, quiet, great staff. Beautiful Maria and her wonderful team do all that they can to ensure you enjoy your stay. Breakfast and lunch on site upon request and Maria can arrange with 1 of her team if you want to do dinner there as well. Large rooftop decks are perfect for evening cocktails, sharing stories with... More

This is definitely the place to stay in Puerto Angel. Clean rooms, friendly staff, good service, nice little pool, cute mini-restaurant/bar on the roof with a good view of the beautiful little bay. But make sure Puerto Angel is actually where you want to go. We love this type of experience and will definitely go back, but this is not... More

My family and I chose this cozy location because it was recommended to us and it didn't disappoint! Most importantly, the rooms were impeccably clean and it was located 20 steps from a tranquil, warm beach, especially for kids! I would also recommend their private restaurant which was set in the terrace with a tropical ocean view. We were so... More

As a child while living in Europe, my family used to go to the Brittany coast in France for many years for summer vacation. We would stay in little fishing towns, and daily treck to tiny hidden beaches bracketed by the craggy coast. I loved it. Now I have finally found an area of Mexico that replicates my childhood experiences.... More

I am most amazed that puerto angel shows up 260kms prior to ones arrival by car, it is a small town, not well kept at all. Beach is not that great and overall is quite depressing. Maybe our expectations were high, but it was way out of our expectations. The hotel given the circumstances is not bad, the rooms are... More

Traveling Mexico By: Zdenko Kahlina Puerto Angel Mexico – Defines the Beauty of Oaxaca! Nice hotel with lots of plants that give the walkways a jungle feel. The room was good sized and the bed was huge. Mouse poop collected outside our door each morning, but it was cleaned up when the housekeeper cleaned our room. The staff was friendly and willing to meet our needs. Nice warm pool in a pretty courtyard, and... More

We arrived late in the afternoon and the lady at reception was really friendly and accommodating. After checking out a few other places, we decided on this one. The pool is really nice, the balcony is great and you can pay for an air-conditioned room only if you choose to use it. It was pretty bright in the morning but... More
