The staff at this hotel was very nice. The rooms are little small however had their own bathroom, television and a ceiling fan. My husband and I stayed for several nights at the Fenix in early March. The location is central in the small town and just a half a block from the beach walkway, which is being expanded at this time. Anybody can have a bad day, Meg, you forgot to talk about the 4 or 5 families eating at the same time that you, and they were unhappy for your violet attitude at the restaurant. We stayed there 2 nites on our way up the coast. Had a nice room upstairs-3 beds/private br./fan.
