This was a nice place to stay. The room was clean and the staff were friendly. The beds are a bit firm - we took a sleeping bag and put it under the sheet for extra softness. It's a very short walk across the street to the beach. It's not resort living, but it is worth the price. more

It is tough to find a good mid-range priced hotel in Puerto Penasco anymore. Lots of expensive luxury hotels/condos being put up on Sandy Beach, which makes it a less desirable destination location for folks on a budget. This hotel is up an unpaved road, not a good start. The beds are rock hard and the walls paper thin. The pool was not heated, a major drawback. During our stay there were parts of the exterior of the hotel which were being painted. Not a problem there BUT the painters had a radio blaring out for 8 hours... more
