We stayed in a 1BR unit for a long weekend in February. We enjoyed our time in Rocky Point and at the Sonoran Sea. From the entrance through checkout everyone at the Sea was helpful and polite. We had an easy check in and were in the room within minutes. When you open the door and can see the ocean... More

Wonderful time spent at the Sonoran Sea Resort in Rocky Point. Wish I would have decided to stay longer and relax more. The tide pools are great and Sasha was a wonderful young lady who showed us octopus hiding under the rocks. Great Time!!!

We stayed for 3 nights. Our condo was on the first floor ocean side. It was absolutely wonderful walking out of the condo to a beautiful view of the ocean. The place was clean and well maintained, except for the sofa couch that was broken. We still couldn't use it after it was supposedly fixed. Everyone we dealt with was... More

We booked a two bed two bath (2B2B) on the bottom floor and were very impressed with 103E of the Sonoran Sea. The location is right between Cholla Bay and the Old Port- probably about 10 minute drive either way. The main reason I chose the Sonoran Sea was because all of the rooms face the ocean in a single,... More

Beautiful place with a lot of security. Staff very professional and place very clean will definitely come back!!! Very hot & humid but wreath water is warm. If it's windy the beach is rough. We only got to go in the water two days out of the four!

We have spent two Spring breaks in late March with our grandchildren in 108W. It is a large 3 bedroom condo on the ground level. The patio is large, adjacent to the lawn and pool and beach. The kids can run in and out with out contending with the elevator. When the tide is out, tide pools are full of... More

So Rocky Point from our Tucson place is about four hours. First you need mexican auto insurance. No rental cars can go. If you get in a wreck you stay, until it is settled. That said, if you don't speed or run stop signs you should be ok. The tap water is only for washing. Not brushing or cooking. Be... More

The hotel was average. We went for a wedding. The view was incredible and great beach access. The pools were clean. There was no room service and you had to bring your own shampoo and soap. Other than that, I would come back. Make sure to visit the town. Support the people.

I really enjoyed our stay at the resort. The room was nice, but the view was great! Staff was friendly and even the resturant food was good. Also, it's within walking distance to Banditos if you want to grab a delicious shrimp taco. We will definitely be going back!

Probably the best thing about the Sonoran Sea is that it is located on a quieter part of the beach than other hotels and condos. The balcony view from the 6th floor is quite nice. Check-in was easy and the front desk was able to get us into our unit a few hours before the regularly scheduled 4 PM check-in.... More
