We have traveled several times to Puerto Penaso and stayed at La Princesa, our friend owns the condo so we can say much about blind renting a condo there, but what we can say applies to all. The view is amazing. You are right on the beach. There are three pools and each has a children's pool as well. There... more

I was a little wary, as a woman, traveling with a friend of mine and our combined seven children to Puerto Penasco, but it was easy, safe, closer than San Deigo, and the beach was much prettier and less crowded then the ones I have been to in Southren California. We stayed in unit D201 and I felt like we... more

We had a great time at the Princessa. We had a 2 room condo that had a fantastic view of a beautiful beach. The condo was nicely furnished and had everything we needed. The beach was just a few steps from our room. When we got tired of playing in the warm water and gentle waves, we swam in one... more

The experience below is something never encountered even after four seperate stays. The rooms are amazingly comfortable and include every necessity (plus more!). The pools are clean and the beach could not be any closer. Been there at different times of the year and it was amazing every time. I highly encourage staying at the Princesa! more

The person who wrote how great this place is must be an employee cause the rooms are awful. We were here in October during school break. Our room was full of dirty broken furniture and the maid service was poor. You can't communictae with the staff if you have a problem and they overcharged our credit card. You get exactly... more

Well, our family has just returned from Rocky Point, and man did we have a wonderful trip! I made our reservations through Sea Side Reservations a couple of months ago, and when we arrived we were greeted the best staff, they were so friendly and helpful. They answered all of our questions and we were on our way to our... more

We went down to Rocky Pointe for the biker rally as we do every year with a bunch f friends. Several of us stayed at Princesa de Penasco and others stayed at Sonoran Spa since they are located next to each other. What a difference between the two. Check in at Princesa was awful. The staff was so disorganized. Our... more

The Princesa is definately one of the nicer resorts of Sandy Beach; however, it's clear just how unprepared the town for future growth. I knew something was up the first day when the entire resort smelled like sewage. The second night our power was out for about three hours and we had no running water for 12+ hours. We then... more

My wife and I stayed here for about 4 days during the week. The place was near deserted, which we loved. It was almost like having our own private pool and beach. We were told weekends however are a different story, and in fact when we left on Friday we could notice an increase in the nuber of guests. We... more

We stayed at the Princesa and it was stunning. There are 3 pools and it is very kid friendly yet there was privacy and relaxation anywhere we went. The beaches are beautiful! The lush gardens make you want to roll in the grass, and it was not over populated. The condo was fully furnished, had good drinking water, and was... more
