Our family and friends have been here multiple times but this last visit was very different. All the staff greeted us with hand over their heart and a warm smile as we passed them. And I mean every person on staff. I felt like a queen and they were there to serve me. The only thing I wish is that... More

Hello all, I thought I like to give you an objective review about the Mayan Palace. As you know it is located near Puerto Penasco a small fishing village or also called Rocky Point for us english speaking folks. I was invited by one of our friends that owns a timeshare at the palace. So that means I did not... More

Though the suit comes with a blender, toaster, coffee maker (bring own coffee), 1 pot and 2 pans, plus dishes, there are some extras you should bring if you plan to cook your meals. I recommend bringing a griddle, it made meal time much faster and easier since the stove is so small. We really regretted not bringing the crock... More

This was not our first trip to the Mayan Palace in Puerto Penasco, but it was a great one as usual. There are several people that helped to make this trip exceptional. Upon arriving we were checked in right away, it was before normal check-in times and that was unexpected and a great start. After check-in we were then greeted... More

We have been three times over the last six years. The staff is fabulous. They are always friendly and helpful. We go with another couple and all feel the same way--it is Mexico and sometimes they do things a bit differently, and that is part of the charm of a different culture. We love the swimming pool, but the hot... More

We have been going to this resort for three years now and have visited six times over the past ten years. We love it! But if you do not have the correct expectations, you will be disappointed. The beach is awesome. Every morning we go out and hunt crabs. Because the tide goes in and out so far, there are... More

I have been here 5 times now and it is great. The staff is amazing! The pools are wonderful. If you are not taking kids it is best to go when kids are is school. It gets a little crazy with fifty kids screaming. Still had a great time

great place to stay. Good service. Restaurant is a little pricy but good food. Food is cheaper in town. Rooms very clean but need some upgrades. 26 miles to town and Mayan has a 5 mile entrance road. Lobby and entrance area very nice

The resort is right on a beautiful beach with incredible sunsets and fine sand, just right for building sandcastles for the kids. I have never seen so many unusual seashells. Couples taking a retreat from their hectic jobs, people from cold Northern states enjoying the warmth in a paradise setting, and families enjoying a safe vacation with lots of activities... More

At Mayan Palace in Puerto Penasco, Rocky Point in English, breakfast is the best part of the day. A Mexican breakfast is more than omelets and pancakes. First there is a wide selection of fruits -- fresh and juicy. Then come the Mexican dishes -- beef, pork, and chicken in their delicious spicy or not so spicy sauces. They are different... More
