A relax vacation in Vida Mayan Place, Puerto Penasco, Mexico. Our room was very close to the lobby and, despite 3 e-mails, send months in advance requesting such, we are quite a distance from our friends that we were travelling with. That being said, the reviews we had read previous to our stay were correct in the fact that it is a VERY large property. We did take advantage of... More

Puerto Penasco is a beautiful desert town with a stunning and huge gulf coast, wmy wife and I stayed at the Mayan Palace and we had a very decent time. The food and beverage staff whether it was the waiters at Bakal (Francisco Gabriel, Dulce the waiter capitan, Arturo in the morning buffet) or the room service staff (Fabian) or... More

Even though the Mayan is out of town about 13 or 14 miles the property is very nice and the beach is beautiful. Our experience with the staff was nothing but positive. Check-in was super easy as well as check-out. Spent every night happy hour in the lobby bar and met so many nice people there. We did not have... More

We met with Danny Schwartz at the Mayan Palace and he advised us of our options and information on the resort and exchanges. He was absolutely wonderful. He is very friendly and personable. I would come back and request him. Thank you Danny.

The food was good for the setting, the daily events were well produced, and the rooms very clean and maintained! Great view (with the upgrade of course) which is not too bad.The service was a bit spotty, especially checking in and out. Concierge NEVER in office!

We stayed here with a group of 3 families during spring break. Although I was a bit nervous about driving from Phoenix to the resort all went well and I would do it again. Our room had 2 bedrooms connected by a living room/kitchenette area. We loved being away from the other hotels and exploring the beach to the south... More

Our experience with Vidanta's Danny Schwartz was beyond exceptional. His presentation was excellent, informational and very clear. His straight-forward, honest, genuine approach is hugely appreciated. Only ask for Danny. He will be running this company one day soon. Sharp, educated, professional businessman. Danny changed our minds about the entire industry and the future of Private Residence Clubs.

This marked our 4th visit to the resort and the first time we've been able to stay in the newly completed Grand Mayan building. The other completed buildings are at the Mayan Palace level - great rooms but balconies so tiny you can barely fit a chair on them. Thus we were thrilled with the new Grand Mayan, its spacious...
