This is the 4rd hotel we've stayed in Mulege and it's been the best one so far. You must keep in mind that the whole area lacks infrastructre. It has a pool. Food is ok. Este es el 4to hotel q hemos visitado en Mulege y hasta haora es el mejor. Tomen en cuenta que toda esta area carece de... More

Tired and hungry after the drive from San Quintin, I paid the $700 pesos and passed up the Cuesta place because of the pool. And our dog was welcome. And I Loved the pool! We took the suite: nice king bed, great fan/AC, nice shower. No TV, don't know if the other rooms had one. The rooms border a lovely... More

This place is not very clean and the rooms are old. The staff was nice. They had wifi and a pool. It. Was good enough for us as a stopover on our way to cabo. There are limited hotel options in mulege and it was a necessary stop as driving the baja is not advisable at night due to black... More

We decided to push our drive down to Cabo. It got too late for Loreto so we found a room here. You can see that this place was probably great when John Wayne was visiting, but it has been going downhill for long while. The room we got was in poor shape and the beds were uncomfortable. Peeling paint, stained... More

This hotel felt like old Mexico. One might say our room had seen better days--but we loved it! It was clean and spacious, had tile floors, sitting area and a fireplace. Sure, the curtains are UG-ly, but so what. We had suffered the generic suburban US motels all the way down the coast from Vancouver (towing our sailboat) and this... More

Drove past Loreto and went to Mulage with little planning. The first hotels in town were a little scary, I was very relived to pull into the Hotel Serenaded lot, it looked clean safe. Hotel, resterants and bar perfect! They let me pull the motorcycle in front of the room but I felt safe with the military guarding the airport... More

I stayed a month at Cliff's Oasis just up the road. Hotel Serinidad is famous for their pit BBQ's and old hotel right on Mulege River. Food and beverages were just great and we even danced. This is what old Mexico feels like in this wonderful through the lookinglass at the 50's. John Wayne, Maureen O'Hara and pals all played... More

If I owned a small plane this would be one of my favourite stops in Mexico. Don Johnson has created an ideal place for those flying or driving through the Baja California peninsula. Just step out of you plane and you are into Hotel Serenidad, a quiet place to be, as the name suggests. The lobby, bar and restaurant area... More

We originally had another place in mind for our stop in Mulege, but we arrived after dark and it was difficult to find our way around town. There are no bright lit signs, and the streets are quite narrow in some places, and if one is not familiar with Mulege, it can be difficult to find places. The accommodations of... More

Old Mexico at its best - the Hotel Serenidad rambles over 5 acres with cool, original painting, art work and architecture. Slightly off the beaten path, next to the river mouth and the Sea of Cortez, the charming tiled floors, French doors, palm trees and gentle breezes call you out to spend time in the court yard or pool area....
