We found the Head to be an excellent place to stay. We were made to feel very welcome and Liz and David were very friendly. It was great staying in the rooms at the back of the Head over looking the garden particularly as we had our dog with us. On the Friday night we enjoyed the music session and... More

I booked into The Head at Middleton to put my husband off the scent for where we were going for his birthday - what a treat it turned out to be! The rooms are behind the pub facing onto a garden. We had our own front door and patio area, the room was big, warm and comfortable with a lovely... More

We received a warm and attentive service. The room was on the small side but it was very clean, with all amenities. It was private and overlooked a garden area. The full breakfast was very good. and the bar had a good atmosphere. It is a good base for exploring the beautiful surrounding countryside and the towns of Kirkby Lonsdale,... More

Sorry you feel this way, this is not a complaint we've heard before. The standard double bed is the usual 4ft 6 in x 6ft 6 in and the two singles are generous 3ft x 6ft 6 in. All with luxurious toppers to ensure a comfortable nights sleep. The shower room is spacious and dimensions can be viewed on our... More

Our stay was lovely and we really enjoyed it. The room was perfect and very spacious and comfortable. The owners where really friendly, knew alot about the place an where to go and visit. We would definitely go back and stay again for more than one night.

My wife and I stayed over here recently for one night on the weekend to use as a little base to explore Ingleton Falls and nearby Sedburgh. As soon as we arrived we were greeted with a warm welcome from the owner who showed us the room and gave us a quick explanation about the opening times of the bar... More

We recently had the pleasure of staying for two nights at The Head and we were very impressed indeed. On arrival we received a very warm and friendly welcome and our room was absolutely lovely. We had a double room with its own little kitchen, so we actually felt like we had our own small apartment which was spacious and... More

We stayed here for one night last Friday 3 October 2014. We were greeted by Elizabeth who was lovely and showed us our room. We stayed for two nights during August 2014 and had a wonderful time. The hosts were friendly and they managed everything professionally. The rooms are located a few yards from the main building and are (i) lovely and quiet, (ii) very clean (iii) more spacious than the average B&B with modern bathroom facilities. We were very pleased, although the under-40s... More

The way we were treated from the moment we arrived until we left was fantastic, Elizabeth and David were the perfect hosts and nothing was too much for them. The food was great, full breakfast sets you up for the day and you could get an evening meal too if you wanted, again cooked to perfection. The quiet location was... More
