Just returned from an idyllic stay at the Whitbarrow village. Stayed in the ullswatersuite The suite was spacious and modern very clean. There was on site entertainment which was also very good. Would not hesitate to return and would like to take this opportunity to thank all concerned for making our stay very enjoyable thank you. Sarah Reynolds

Great accommodation - we stayed in kirkstone number 28 and it was lovely, very clean and better than i had anticipated. There was all the needs of a family home for my 1 year old. high chair, cot and stairgate which we needed to ask for. my uncle is disabled so was able to park outside. the resort had a... More

We own a timeshare and have been several times to Whitbarrow. Usually excellent but this time awful. Had a property on Troutbeck. 3 bedrooms downstairs. The property was tired looking. Carpet on stairs going threadbare. All floors squeaked upstairs really bad. So if you were downstairs sounded like there was a party upstairs even with one person walking about. This... More

Just returned from a 2 night stay booked with Secret Escapes. We were very impressed . Stayed in a Ullswater suite . Very clean and modern, everything there that you needed for self catering . Only thing that I could have a moan about was the bed was on the small side. Used the pool early morning and early evening... More

The unit was rather on the small side for 4 people so glad there was only two of us and some of the furniture is getting a bit tired however there was everything that you could possibly want in the unit and everything was very clean. We did need the heating on due to the weather and it was good... More

Me and my family had a great weeks break at Whitbarrow village, we enjoyed the onsite entertainment, especially that directed at children, my 4 year old is desperate to go back. The accommodation is spacious and has everything you need, the only downside was the very week water pressure in the showers. Facility wise we used the pool and mini... More

We exchanged one of our timeshare weeks from Florida for a two bedroom apartment here, I rather fear that the English just do not get the concept of timeshare. One of the bedrooms offered up bunk beds would you believe as a twin option!! The "main" bedroom was so small with a closet capable of storing about half of what... More

My boyfriend and I spent one week at Whitbarrow. It was absolutely beautiful! We were happy from the moment we were driving up to reception. The receptionist was nice and helpful and let us check in earlier than we should have. We used the facilities once as most of the time we were out and about exploring! There is just... More

This was our second visit to Whitbarrow and we were blessed with beautiful weather. The accommodation (Troutbeck 7) was comfortable and well equipped and we enjoyed a meal in the restaurant. Highlights of our week included a drive through the Kirkstone Pass to Townend, a National Trust Property, and a walk around Ullswater and Aira Force waterfall. The nearby Greystoke... More
