Not a lot you can say about it, the title says most of it. As with other reviewers, we found the room superb, the bed was about the size of a shire county, the shower like a warm waterfall, just perfect. We stayed for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we were looked after excellently. Breakfasts was fantastic, generous... More

We booked in to The Old Rectory the day we arrived; we'd been staying elsewhere and it wasn't good so we decided to move and were lucky The Old Rectory had a vacancy, as it looked wonderful and it really was when we finally arrived. We stayed in the French Rose room, which is beautiful and comfortable and has a... More

Stayed here one night and enjoyed my stay. Nice house and a nice room with a great bathroom (v powerful shower). It's easy to find but if you're walking back after dinner it's difficult to walk up the entrance as there is no outdoor lighting and because of its position, it's very dark. All in all this is a good... More

Spent one night here on our way down to Cornwall. Well deserved of it's 5 star rating. Everything spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, luxurious towels, toiletries etc, friendly owners, and excellent breakfast. Had the family interconnecting rooms for 2 adults and 3 children (something we usually struggle to find) and there was ample space for us all. Would recommend and hope... More

Stayed here whilst attending a local wedding. Booked on the strength of the tripsadvisor reviews and were so glad we did! Had been a bit dubious about the amount of 5* reviews but as soon as we arrived it became plain that they were spot on. The place is beautifully decorated and maintained, as good as many (much more expensive)... More

The Old Rectory, run by Julia and her son, Christian, is a luxurious and elegant B&B just outside of Exeter, England. Each room is beautifully decorated with antiques and you will have full amenities. The bathrooms are large and the shower is powerful and always full of hot water. Julia and Christian are extremely warm and welcoming. There are jars... More

We had an early morning flight from Exeter Airport and needed somewhere close. Great breakfast nice room and not too noisy because of the proximity of the airport - much nicer than an anonimous hotel chain.

The place was fantastic and the location was great. The rooms we reserved were a twin room sharing a toilet. All the facilities were great and nicely maintained... A little bit of luxurious but it was not over. The breakfast were great too with good choices of food and excellent selection of locally produced food. The service was good and... More

Stayed here with friends on the way down to Cornwall for a Lands End to John O'Groats bike ride. Everything about it is fantastic, you really couldn't ask for more. Probably the nicest b&b I've stayed at and will certainly pay another visit if I'm ever back in that part of the world.
