This should not have been our first B&B because it will be hard to top the memorable experience at the Iron Kettle. Traveling with another couple who were also spending their first night at a bed and breakfast really had me feeling the pressure to find just the right place to stay on our way back from Niagara Falls. The... More

We were told about this B&B by friends. We stayed there while doing a wine tour of the area. What a beautiful venue, truly historic and charming offering privacy and well appointed rooms. Were impressed by the quality of beds, linens and furnishings. Our hosts, Ben and Ginette acquainted us with the story of the house and the gardens and... More

This B&B is loaded with charm. The owners are a young couple with a mature sense of decor, hospitality, and cuisine. The old victorian house is roomy and comfortable. The pool and hottub were welcome additions at the end of a long day. The food is to die for: we even had Ben cook us two suppers which were exceptional.... More

As soon as we arrived at the Iron Kettle, we were charmed by the historic setting. Truly a beautifully maintained historic home and property. The rooms offered luxury beds, top quality towels and linens (all ironed) and our personal bathroom. Ben and Ginette, our hosts, made us feel at home the minute we walked in. The dinners and breakfasts prepared... More

I arrived with a friend on a picture-perfect summer day to the warm welcome of Ben at the historic Iron Kettle. We had just enough time to visit a winery before dinner and select a wine to match Ben's planned menu. When we returned, we relaxed around the pool while dinner was prepared. It didn't disappoint – local ingredients, farm-fresh... More

Here is a place where you can feel comfortably at home. Benjamin wants guests to feel as relaxed as possible and goes out of his way to do so. The food is fantastic, what you would expect from a top restaurant. Local ingredients are conjured by a highly skilled chef and the caffeine options are extensive. The breakfast area is... More

The house and property are beautiful, the food is fantastic, the owners are very welcoming and friendly. The price was great, and it was a short drive to many different destinations in Windsor-Essex county. We will definitely go back, and recommend it to others.
