My partner and I had a lovely one night stay at Glykeria. As we are both Cretan living abroad we enjoyed a mini homeland escape at Elafonisi and Kedrodasos which are a breath away from Glykeria. Our room was spacious and clean with a jaw-dropping view of the sunset over the cliffs. The owners are truly wonderful hosts and the... More

We stayed there for 5days frying on the beach=) The stay was amazing our hosts where attentive and informative and we had great fun. More over breakfast was tasty and you could eat plenty, and as the food on our first evening was delicious we ate there thru out all our stay. The best was goat from local butchery and... More

We were looking forward to staying at Glykeria B&B and we were warmly welcomed. The room was spotlessly clean with an amazing view. The bathroom was basic, but functional. The pool area is nice. There was no bar service, we had to walk across the busy road to the taverna to pick up drinks. Dinner was a disappointment and expensive.... More

Staying on this part of the island is in itself something of an adventure; whilst the rooms do not offer the highest standards of accommodation, a shower in the morning can be a bracing event, the personality of the family team that run the hotel added to the excellence of the home spun cuisine combine to make a stay here... I agree with much of what other reviewers have said - very friendly and welcoming host, Niko; good food in the taverna - very tasty and succulent goat kokkinisto, grilled veg a nice change from horta\horiatiki; generous raki and yoghurt with honey and walnuts. Wine, more expensive than the norm of about 7€ - it was over 9€ a kilo... More

Stayed for 2 nights. Clean, no frills B&B with 9 (?) sea view rooms (we were on the bottom floor and still had a very nice view). No TV or internet but we stayed there for the beautiful nearby beach so we honestly didn't even notice that stuff was missing. Owners were very friendly and also own the family-run taverna... More

We did enjoy our stay here. Simple but super-spacious rooms, lovely see view, relaxing sofa close to the pool (i read there whole mornings). It is difficult to enjoy anything better than this if you want to stay away from everything and everybody. The restaurant is one of the best in the area, so no need to search. Very friendly... More

As a family of four we stayed for four nights at the hotel, 6 km away from the actual beach. Overall, very happy with service and friendliness of Glykeria and her brother Nikos. Used the swimming pool a couple of times as well and discovered hidden bays nearby. Room had air-con with no extra cost and a small fridge but... More

This in regards to the service given at the restaurant. We came toghether with my wife at ''Glykeria'' restaurant in Elafonissi during our summer vacations in Crete. I would like to compliment the way your customer service people were serving us.The food served was very tasty and delicious, we were very satisfied by the service and the food. I specifically... We decided on Saturday to take a two days trip to Elafonisi on Sunday, the day after, to see the beautiful beach. We called Glykeria Hotel at 6.00pm, and they had no problem at all in reserving us a three bed room for just the two of us, for a twin room price, for just one night! The room was... More
