I highly recommend staying with Martha if you have the chance. Her bungalows are by far the cheapest on the island, and she cooks some delicious meals. The accommodations are rustic but if you are good with a nice mattress, clean sheets and a mosquito net than this homestay will do you well. Her personality is also an added plus.... More

it's better to book this place before you go there. Nice place to stay, really peaceful at night because they only use the generator for the electricity from 18:00-22:00 and the people are nice as well. we stayed for 6 days in this place. We were really excited to stay at Tante Martha, but didn't have the best experience. We called a few times before arriving to confirm our reservation. Mama Martha's Homestay has basic bungalows with private porches. It is basic, but it has all you need. Since the bungalows are made of wood it does have a rustic charm. We stayed for 11 nights at Tante Marta's homestay. She has only 4 bungalows but they are on the most beautiful beach on Siladen. The price was 200.000 rupiah per person incl. 3 meals a day and free coffee, tea and water. The meals were very good: fresh fish, chicken, fresh fruit, rice, soup etc. The bungalows are very basic...
