The rooms and the resort itself were gorgeous. The biggest downfall for me was the food. Neither my finace nor I enjoyed what we ordered and the staff in the restaurants were very slow. We went with another couple and stayed the last week in May. rooms = beautiful and functional (had to learn how to adjust the A/C though) They turn down your bed in the evening, check on towel needs 2 x a day, make up the beds and restock the mini fridge daily building and grounds = excellent service = above... more

Stayed at the DPA in April and had a wounderfull time, Kids(Ages 10 & 13) said it was their best trip ever. Hotel was fantastic, lots to do for the kids. We stayed at the DPA for four nights in March of 2009. This is a great family resort with many activites for children through out the day. You can just leave your child with the Aventure Club and have them babysit them for the the day. They will give you a beeper for any emergency, so no worries. Our room... more
