The 5 rating is not quite HIGH enough for La Casa del Agua! After the 1.5 hour drive from Cancun Int'l. Airport (a straight ride, no turns) I was greeted with a margarita on the rocks. My suite, the Cenote Suite, was the largest, most spacious, and peaceful room. There are no telephones nor televisions(at the time of this review,... more

My husband and I had an incredible experience at Casa del Agua. We were looking for something very secluded, and that is what we got! There are only 4 rooms, and we were one of two couples staying at the house, so it felt like we had the resort all to ourselves. We stayed in the ground floor "Arroyo" room,... more

this place is a cute place that is quiet and secluded. I'd recommend any honeymooner or vacationer who wants a relaxing time with limited amount of people around you. there are only 4 rooms and when we stayed there, we were with 2 couples. Everyone had their own agenda; therefore, we were by ourselves a lot at the resort. At... more

Everything that others have written about Casa del Agua's unique beauty, tranquility, luxury and hospitality is true. My fiancee (now my wife) and I spent three nights there after deciding to elope during a Mexican vacation. Not only was it a perfect setting, the staff (on one day's notice) arranged for a memorable Yucatan feast for our small wedding party,... more

Max and Barbara were wonderful hosts. this place is small and romantic... Rooms were clean and lovely, breakfasts were excellent. Be aware that you are part of a built up area of new construction with condos and hotel guests from other hotels wandering past your idyllic setup looking in at you. The beach is not really much, concrete with lots... more

My husband and I just returned from the most glorious seven days we've ever experienced. We stayed in the Arroyo Room of Casa Del Agua. Lutz, the new manager, as well as four employees walked out to the road to greet us when we arrived. We were escorted to our room by Lutz. We can not praise the staff of... more

We spend the last part of our honeymoon there after 2 weeks in Prage and Holland. This is the best place on earth for honey moon and relaxation. The beach is 4 steps from our room, the breakfast is superb, crew exceptional and spotless rooms are nothing compared with the kindness and customer oriented management. Please stay here!! more

My husband and I just returned from Casa del Agua from our honeymoon and we both thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The room we had was beautiful. We stayed in the Cascada Room and had a wonderful view of the ocean. The bathroom had a great romantic shower and the bed was very comfortable. We even had a family of... more

Casa del Agua is a jewel as are Barbara and Max, the innkeepers. This is a private home which has been converted into a 4 suite B&B right on the beach. Puerto Aventuras is a 5 minute walk by beach to a world class marina and a variety of shops and restaurants. Granted the restaurants in Puerto are not high... more

We spent 9 nights at casa del agua,a beautiful eco-boutique hotel nested in what is left of Puerto Aventuras' tropical Jungle. We stayed in the Caleta room that arguably has no view but enjoy a massive bathroom and a large bedroom, no complains. The service and the hospitality are fantastic, Max and Barbara (the hosts)are not only able to make... more
