We visited the Grand Palladium from Jan 3 to Jan 17. We travelled with a group of about 80 people for a wedding during the first week and about 20 of us stayed for the following week. This was my 7th all inclusive vacation. This was my 4th stay in the Mayan Riviera. This resort was probably offered the best... more

We just came back from the grand palladium for our honeymoon. It was amazing. The weather was a little cool at times but the food and people were great. The resort is large as you are reading through out the other reviews and we finally figured our way fully around by the time we were ready to leave. The reception... more

We booked our vacation/honeymoon along with 3 other couples in April 2008 and requested to be on the Kantenah side all of together in one building or at least close to eachother. When we arrived one couple was on the Kantenah side and 2 couples were on the Colonial side (one couple had to cancel). We asked the receptionist to... more

My husband and I travel often and this was our fourth visit to the Mayan Riviera but our first time at a Palladium resort. We love big resorts and this place is huge. We thought the Bahia Principe resorts were big but this was bigger. The beach is big, nice and clean. There are rocky areas but sill lots of... more

Just got back from Palladium and overall was a good stay. Weather got bad, but not -10 like it was at home! I would recommend this resort as compared to the two other hotels I've stayed at in Playa del Carmen. DIFFERENCES than the hotel website or other hotels we've been to include: you can't schedule your dinner at the... more

We go away every year for new years with four couples and the adult kids a total of 15 of us.This year we chose the Mayan for the second time. We did pick the wrong place to make it simple this place promises so much and delivers little. If it did what it promised it would have been a very... more

A group of five couples traveled to the Palladium on Jan 4 through Jan 11. The entire group agreed that the place was paradise and we simply could not complain about anything at the resort. The grounds were beatiful, beach was great (but a little rocky going into the water...big deal...once past the rock clear blue and perfect), food to... more

I visited the 5 star resort after christmas and stayed in the Kantenah suites. They were gorgeous but did not get cleaned adequately. My main concern was the fact that I got very sick on the trip. I ate something at the buffet and spent 3 days in bed and $200 (American) in treatment with antibiotics and an injection as... more

We stayed at the Grand Palladium - Colonial the week between Christmas and New Years. Our family ranges in age from 6 to 72. We really enjoyed the entire experience. The resort is very lovely and the staff works very hard to make your stay enjoyable. There is an incredible amount of walking and the golf carts can not keep... more
