First of all this ones not a 5 star. There Aren't many people from US. Most of the visitors are from Canada or Spain(may be they get a better deal for them as the owner's are from Spain). That being said the place is beautiful, the hotel is clean, you pay the tip or you don't you get the same service... more

We stayed at the Grand Palladium Riviera Resort and Spa Feb 27-March 4th 2009. It was a little chilly at night ,take a sweater or jacket this time of the year. We stayed in room 6828 3rd floor with a beautiful review of the sunrise every morning. Loved the room with a spa tub and robes and slippers. Tip your... more

We stayed at the Grand Palladium Colonial from March 8 - 15, 2009. Right from the get go this vacation was everything we wanted it to be be. I had booked AGI Tours for our transfer to the resort and as promised they were standing right outside with my name on it. We told the Transat Rep we were using... more

Just returned from an excellent 2 weeks at the Colonial. We went with Thompson, had what seemed like an eternal 10 hour flight. We wanted to upgrade to Premium, but that was full, so we decided to pay £40 each for extra legroom. Not that brilliant, we had seats in front of a bulkhead which was quite claustraphobic, with only... more

We stayed here for 7 nights and loved every minute of it. Check-in We arrived on Friday afternoon with a direct transportation to the resort. Upon check in we realized we were placed in a first floor room even though we requested a 2nd or 3rd floor room. The hotel easily changed our room to a 3rd floor room without... more

I would like start off by saying that I own a travel agency and have travelled all over the world (Mexico17 times). I really can't believe some of these peoples complaints. First of all if you requested a king bed before you left then your agent should have informed you that bedding configuration is on a request basis only and... more

We had a great vacation, we always make the best of every situation. We are not fat, lazy, or "nit pickers". We were a group of 8 people 4 adults in our 40's/50's and 4 teens 13-16. The Good - The food was good compared to other all inclusive resorts we have been to (Occidental Grand Xcaret, Moon Palace). Everyone... more
