The resort is fantastic with friendly staff, and pretty good food. The best part about staying at a Palace Resort is that you can grab a taxi or if you get up early enough a hotel shuttle to any one of the other Palace Resorts in the area. You get full access to all amienities at all Palace Resorts. Be... more

Too much to list so I will start by saying the place is more than one can imagine. Unless your used to drinking from silver cups and eating from gold spoons. This resort has blown away anything I have ever seen or experienced and that includes Sandals. Resort: HUGE! CLEAN! Very very nice from the immaculate landscaping to the beautifully... more

Been to Aventura twice the last 2 years, both trips in June. 2008 had an very full hotel, and in 2009 almost empty. My review will be judged by the sum of both, since my biggest surprise and biggest compliment to ASP is that even though the resort was almost empty this year, service wise there was no difference between... more

The most striking unexpected feature of this resort was the exceptional service and hospitality. I travel once a month and generally expect great service from the wait staff and guest services staff. However, Aventura went above and beyond. Every single person working there - housekeeper, grounds worker, maintenance worker, server, etc - when out of his/her way to smile, verbally... more

We went for a anniversary trip to celebrate our tenth anniversary. My husband and I had a wonderful time. The food and drinks were superb. Service was also spectacular throughout the resort. We ate at the Italian restaurant, California and Mexican restaurant. They were all wonderful. What I especially enjoyed (as a wine snob) was being able to order a... more

Great Palace property! Big and sprawling with so many different areas to sit, relax, swim, exercise and eat! Loved the donut-shaped resistance pool and the obstacle course - lots of really neat features like this. Missed not having a beach with an open view of the ocean - just couldn't quite appreciate the lagoon given this is a beach capital... more

My husband and I traveled to Aventura Spa for our honeymoon. We found the resort clean, the food excellent, and the staff friendly. Our ONLY complaint was the special "honeymoon package" that we received. A friend who was there a year ago had a nice candlelit dinner and received polo shirts with the resort name on them. Our candlelit dinner... more

My sister got married in the south gazebo and it was absolutley beautiful. We didn't mind not having a beach because we loved the snorkeling experience and how we could do it whenever we wanted. If you want a beach experience, you should take the Tulum trip and go to the beach on the backside of the ruins. The food... more

We chose this hotel for our 10 year anniversary. I was worried because of some of the reviews. We LOVED it though! Yes the beach is not sand, it is rocks but my husband loved being able to snorkel. You can also get hotdog buns or bread and feed the fish. If you need a beach, they have several options... more

My husband and I stayed at Aventura in February for our honeymoon. It was breathtaking. The rooms and service were outstanding. The food was excellent. I loved Mundaca the steakhouse... sooo yummy. We stayed on the bottom floor in Tuba, which is way over on the North end where it was quiet. The south end (where the kids are allowed... more
