We just returned from a 5 night stay at Loma del Mar, and it was paradise. It was a particularly quiet week in Ixtapa, tucked between Thanksgiving and the busy holiday season. The hotel was quiet too, but since that meant no screaming children, it was just right for our romantic getaway. The hotel consists of 16 suites and we... More

This hotel is small and tucked into the hillside, and provides much privacy for you and those you travel with. It is a few minutes to the beach, but with the poolside attentiveness of Onesimo, and the helpful skills of Vanessa and Felix at the front desk, you won't find yourself wanting for anything. The poolside menu includes some wonderful... More

This is an absolutely amazing boutique hotel. I do not normally bother to write reviews for all the hotels I have stayed in; it would take a lot of time and there would be not enough time left to travel. Anyway, I liked this hotel so much that I had to write a review. Besides that, I am now at... More

This hotel is actually in Ixtapa, not in Zihuatanejo, and it's really an incredible place to stay, it has excellent service but the facilities are whats best. Its like being in a private resort in the middle of the jungle, except it is 5 minutes from town!!! Good rates, only 16 suites so it is very exclusive, thalasso, spa, golf... More

Loma del Mar is a new thalassotherapy hotel with just 16 one- and two-bedroom suites. The hotel is located on a golf course and is only a quick five-minute walk to the beach. Loma del Mar would make the ideal hideaway for a true health-and-well-being holiday. With special programs designed to reduce stress, help with weight management, or just pamper... More

Loma Del Mar was wonderful. I would recommend it to anyone. The service, accomodations, food was perfect. The only think that I would have done different was book it for longer than 3 nights.

We are a family with two teenagers. The rooms are set up with a master separated by an outdoor kitchen and a family room. The kids room had 2 beds and their own shower. The design was very thought out and furnished nicely. Service was outstanding with coffe and rolls brought to the room every morning at the hour of... More

The Loma Del Mar was beautiful. The condo rooms were well decorated and maintained. We purchased 7 nights via Skyauction. We have purchased via Skyauction over 10 time before and have been satisfied each time. The deal via Skyauction is totally worth it. The rack rate is about $450 per night, we got it on Skyauction for about $200. Since,... More

I just came back from Ixtapa where I went to celebrate my birthday and I want to share an amazing experience with my fellow travelers. There is a hidden gem in Ixtapa and I happened to find it by pure coincidence. One evening my wife and I were walking on Paseo de la Playa Hermosa from Las Brisas towards the... More
