Pacifica Resorts took over Loma del Mar recently on a 5 year contract-called Pacifica Spa and will be kept as a hotel and not part of the timeshares. We were offered a pool day on a Wed. and really enjoyed the grounds & pool. The wait staff was there for you constantly to see if you needed anything- the 1... More

This is a nice hotel but you need to be aware of a couple of things that are not clear in the description.....travelsites show you pictures of all their pools highlighting the thalasso spa but you are only allowed into ONE of the pools onsite (the main pool by the bar), the thalasso pool closest to the hotel is approximately... This is a beautiful, quiet, relaxing setting. New, clean, spacious one bedroom apt. Outstanding, friendly service. Beyond our expectations. We will be back next year for a longer stay.

DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT DO ANYTHING WITH LOMA DEL MAR! THEY ARE FRAUDS! We had a wk at Club Med but where approached by Jose at the airport who tried to get us to come for a day at Loma Del Mar Spa Resort. He promised us both free massages, snorkeling, steak dinners and to swim in their... More

Loma del Mar, althought the hotel is not directly located at the beach (so no view on the ocean), this charming and wonderful boutique hotel should be considered in your choice! When we arrived, we were guided to our 'room' which actually was not a room but a real suite with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and plenty of space... More

My wife and I went to Zihuatanejo for a week in June. We were met at the airport by a man named Jorge A. Ceballos Magnon. He immediately started to tell us of all the hotspots in Ixtapa and Zihua. After a few minutes of rambling on he promised us two free full day snorkeling trips, two dinners at a... More

If you want a feeling of having your own private resort you need to stay here! There are a limited number of rooms available at Loma that all provide the feeling of a private condo or penthouse rental. The unit we stayed in had two good sized bedrooms and one smaller room that would be fine for a child. The... More

We stayed here over the Christmas and New Year period in Dec 2010. The hotel itself is beautiful, it's set in perfectly manicured gardens and is between Ixtapa and Zihuateanejo. You can easily get a cab from the hotel to either of the towns and both are very different. Ixtapa very family and touristy, and Zihuateanejo more real Mexico. The... More

If you are looking for a great place to relax and be treated like a king then this is the place for you. This is our fourth year to this resort and I will continue to come back each year. The staff are always friendly and courteous. The rooms are the cleanest I have ever had in Mexico. The pool... More
