I was eyeing up this resort for two years. I have a 3 year old and was looking for a family friendly resort. Gonna make this review as simple as possible. It was a last minute decision to go on a short holiday for a week with my friend and 3 year old son. This resort is great for kids.... More

NOT good for college spring breakers - YEAH! Just what we were looking for! We have a 13 year old with us and staying out of the spring break craziness was perfect. We really enjoyed it but there are things that you need to know about this property. HOTEL LOCATION - NOT in Ixtapa - but in the 2nd hotel... More

My boyfriend and I had a (too) short break of 4 days/3 nights at the Azul Resort in Ixtapa last weekend. It was an amazing, wonderful place, one which I would highly recommend. The resort was at the very top of the Ixtapa area, away from the town and main resort strip, directly opposite Ixtapa Isle. There was a Club... More

We stayed at the Azul Ixtapa 5 years ago and I must say it was just as beautiful, clean and in good repair as the last time we were there. We had intended to stay at the new Grand but were a day late in booking and it was sold out. The manager of the Azul, Mr. Auner Serrano, went... More

The hotel we stayed at the Azul Ixtapa was a beautiful hotel. For us it was too far out from shopping. The beach was horrible and the food not what I expected for a 4+ star hotel. Could have been better. The pools were very nice and warm everyday. Never had a show on the grounds in their own theater... More

Was there for March break with family of four. Great resort, clean, great service, great staff everywhere on the resort. Only downside is the beach which is not very nice, but you can take a water taxi across to ixtapa island which has nice beaches. The food was great at every buffet and restaurant we went to. We even had one... More

We stayed at the Azul Ixtapa from Feb 27 to Mar 6 and loved it. Our group was my husband, our 15 year old and our 5 year old. Check in was smooth. It took about 35 minutes to get to the resort from the airport. We got a room on the 15th floor and had a huge balcony and... More

My husband and our two year old and 3 month old spent a week at the Azul March 6-13th, along with extended family. This resort was very family friendly. Our room was spotless, housekeeping was great, we enjoyed the buffets and the a la carte restaurant experiences. Our children were a little too young to enjoy the kids zone pool... More

We traveled from Toronto to Ixtapa March 3-11th, after a very long flight with a woman who had two out of control children who screamed, kicked, and disrupted everyone around them on the plane we (group of 7)were ready for our all inclusive vacation to begin! We were very prepared based on the trip advisor reviews for our holiday. Hopefully... More
