Visited Las Brisas Feb 4-11, 2016. This was my first time to Ixtapa but 8th time to Mexico. At first appearance the hotel is dated and plain, but as you get to know its charm and explore the grounds, that changes. The hotel is situated on 34 acres of jungle which has plenty of wildlife to enjoy. All the rooms... More

This was probably our 10th trip to Las Brisas. We are typically here as a couple, but have brought out teenage daughters on trips as well.... and we have loved it every time. Over the past few years, we have been pleased to see that many of the great things (beach, service, people, beauty, decor, surroundings, etc) have not changed,... More

If you would have told me in 1995, during my first visit to the Las Brisas Ixtapa (formerly the Westin), that I would be making my 9th visit in 2016, I would said you were crazy – just too many great places to visit in the world to visit one spot so many times. However, we’ve enjoyed it before kids,... More

We were in a group of 4 couples and had all read the reviews. We all missed the fact that there was not nightly entertainment. Friday and Sunday had a buffet outside with music and Saturday there was a band at the lobby bar. If you want peace and quiet this is the place for you. Every other aspect is... More

We stayed at this hotel in late January and had a great time. I have stayed here over 15 years ago and while the hotel still looks the same, there are some differences. I didn't think the breakfast buffet was as expansive as in years past. However, with that being said, it was good and the made to order omelets... More

This resort still remains one of the most amazing places to stay in Mexico. Set on a quiet private beach in beautiful natural surrounding with amazing views and walks. The archtecture is spectacular, peaceful and truly Mexican. Not a generic resort. The rooms are spacious with huge private terraces basking in sunshine. The staff are friendly and helpful at all... We spent one week at Las Brisas, January 3 - 10th. We loved the place. Here's why: 1. The building is lovely and the setting spectacular. Set on 35 acres of beautiful grounds, we particularly enjoyed the free guided tour at 8:00 am with a naturalist. Everyone was given field glasses, and we roamed the grounds learning about the trees... More

Grandar and her party of NINE stayed at Las Brisas Ixtapa from January 28 to February 4, 2106. Our family consisted of five adults and four beautiful grandbabies, aged 6, 5, 4, and 2. All things considered, we had a very nice time. We have never experienced such fabulous pool side service! Fancy drinks, buckets of beer, hot wings, ice... More

After reading many of the reviews we were confident that this would be a good experience. And that was what happened. The walking. If you stay here you will do a lot of walking. We enjoyed all the walking and the long stairways. There are elevators to get you from your room to the beach or front desk in a... More

Visited this hotel several times before, but this is my last. I would have rated it with one star, but I really love the architecture. I traveled with my wife and 1 year old baby, the first issue was on friday night, my baby was asleep and some people shouting and playing in the corridor, I reported this to front... More
