We have been reading all the excellent reviews on Casa Candilles and what more can we say...it's all true! We truly enjoyed the beauty of the surroundings, the sounds and smells of the garden, the hospitality of our host Roberto, Miguel's smile along with that wonderful morning coffee, the food which was never ordinary, the comfortable bed and bathroom, ...and... We were in Mexico the third week of February and stayed at as I own points with Club Intrawest, we stayed there for 5 days. They didn't have a vacancy for the last two days, however, so my husband and I and 2 other couples booked at the Casa Candiles Inn for the last two days. It was WONDERUL! Roberto... More

We spent one glorious week at Casa Candiles. This was our first trip to Ixtapa as well as the first time we didn't stay at an all-inclusive resort. We were very happy with our choice. We arrived to a wonderful meal prepared by Roberto and a warm welcome. Our suite was immaculate, as was the entire property. We were very... More

My husband and I just returned from my first trip to Mexico, and we could not have been more pleased with the hospitality offered by Roberto and Miguel at Casa Candiles. We booked this wonderful B&B based on the reviews here, and truly feel like we hit the jackpot! From the moment we arrived, we could tell that this place... More

After an enjoyable but tiring trip along the coast from Puerto Vallarta, traveling by 3rd class bus and staying in cheap and cheerful basic hotels, Mardie and I arrived in Ixtapa ready for some "de luxe" time. We had booked 3 nights at Casa Candiles after being seduced by their website and we were not disappointed. Casa Candiles and host... More

We stayed at this location from January 13 to 20. The property is immaculate and very well appointed with attention to detail wherever you look, the owner Roberto and staff Miguel made us feel welcomed and at home the moment we arrived and throughout our stay. The inn is located in a very nice area of Ixtapa approximately 10 minute... More

The previous year we stayed in a small bungalow in Cabo san Lucas. It was such an enjoyable, relaxing experience that we knew we could never stay in a big hotel again. So, when we were searching for a place to stay in Ixtapa and saw Casa Candiles we knew we had to stay there. Reading through the other reviews,... More

I had a wonderful time at Casa Candilles over Christmas! My room was perfect, a big dressing room, beautiful bathroom, waking up to the birds chirping and falling asleep to the sound of crickets, looking out over the pool, gardens and "jungle". It really was exotic! Roberto has thought of everything you could possibly want for a relaxing and comfortable... More
