Stayed Saturday after a day at Henley Regatta, had a fantastic meal the food was extremely good, and the restaurant side is decorated lovely. We asked for an update on World Cup and Wimbledon and a very nice chap came over and updated with the days results and then informed us we could watch the Match in the bar which... More

What a marvellous find this little hotel/B&B turned out to be! We had a delightful bedroom, accompanied by our dog with excellent service and the food ... We shared a large platter which was excellent but when it came to the desserts, the Winning Post simply excelled! Hot Raspberry Souffle with white chocolate sauce and a Winning Post Eton Mess... We stayed one night at The Winning Post before going to Royal Ascot. The room was excellent very well appointed and the bed extremely comfortable. We were very impressed with the choice for breakfast beautifully cooked and presented. The staff were most helpful and welcoming. Very reasonably priced and convenient to Ascot and Windsor we would book again.

We stayed at the Winning Post on the weekend of the 10th May 2014. We were going to Ascot for the weekend and had read good reviews on this hotel and restaurant so I decided to book it. I can be a little snobby when it comes to staying in hotels and food as I like things to be right.... More

Myself and my boyfriend stead here for two nights last weekend. The room was fantastic for the money and location, really comfortable bed, nice and quiet and a shower or bath to choose from. We ate in the pub on the first night and the food was fantastic! We had a sharing platter for a starter which would have been... More

My fiancé and I stopped at the Winning Post for a bite to eat. While the food was nice the atmosphere and customer service was poor. There is a lot to say about service with a smile and we felt rather uncomfortable as though we were causing an inconvenience. The fact that the two customers at the bar stared as... More

You can tell a lot about a place by the care and quality of the decor. The Winning Post does not disappoint. If you enjoy interior design, go and see it. Oh, and if you enjoy good food served by good staff then even more reasons for you to go and sample this place. Bedrooms were definitely above average quality,... More

Close to windsor and ideally located for Ascot Racecourse, this hotel is a great find. The rooms are very clean, spacious and comfortable. The pub serves a selection of real ale and has an extensive wine. The real winning factor for The Winning Post is the food. The ribeye steak is one of the best steak I have ever eaten.... More

This place needs leadership. It is expensive and not delivering in terms of service. Food remains strong, wine list limited. Location good and convenient but it could go the extra mile. Best to avoid until they reestablish themselves.
