We've just come back from 4 lovely days in Cornwall where we stayed in what was possibly the best B&B we've ever been to! The house is in the most wonderful setting, right by a little river in the hilly countryside, and has a dreamy garden where you are welcomed with tea and homemade cake. The interior is cozy, spacious... More

After arriving and settling into the warmth of Tubbs Mill, Denise told me they don't normally have guests in December so I felt very privileged. It was wonderful being surrounded by pastures and the lovely garden again this morning after our hearty breakfast prepared by Vic. So long since I've had fresh free range eggs, I'd forgotten just how yellow... More

A beautiful house in an idyllic setting. The garden is so lovely we could have spent our whole time just relaxing beside the river. Although the house looks old worldly the interior fittings and decor are top quality and everything is spotless. Breakfast is delicious with a great choice. Lots of places to visit nearby i.e. Eden Project, Lost Gardens... More

Such a pretty house, which could not be situated in a more pleasant position. When you pull up and park, it's just across the little lane from the house and next to the pond which has chickens, pheasants and ducks all roaming freely. The house is just as gorgeous as all the photographs would suggest and it is spotlessly clean.... More

Tubbs Mill House is a beautiful old house with a lot of character, hidden in a quiet countryside. We spent only one night there but would love to spent more time. The double room was clean and quiet, the bed was confortable. Mostly, the kindness and the welcome of Klaus is outstanding, as was the brekfast he cooked for my... More

We've enjoyed 2 visits at Tubbs Mill House, most recently this May. The house and garden are beautiful and are located in our favorite part of Cornwall. The rooms are lovely and comfortable, and the en suite bathroom with the Blue Room is luxurious. Breakfasts and dinners are wonderful and we always stuff ourselves. But the best part for us... More

Klaus and Liz are wonderful hosts. The rooms are spotless and the beds so comfy that you sleep really well. It is a lovely spot and not far from the lost gardens of Heligan and the Eden project. The breakfast is very nice with a good choice and sets you up for the day ahead. I decided to get married... More

What a lovely b&b! We stayed for two nights over my friends wedding. Liz & klaus were exceptionally welcoming and helpful. We were treated like family and I loved that. Rooms are beautiful with big bathrooms, all spotless. All toiletries and extra nicknacks are provided. Everything was perfect. Breakfast was cooked when and how we asked for it. The gardens... More
