This farm is a haven of peace in the small hamlet of Castallack, off the beaten track but near to Lamorna Cove in the Land's End Peninsula. The hosts are helpful and friendly, the house and property clean and tidy and the breakfasts have an interesting and varied menu to choose from. The bedrooms (there are two - and there... More

I had to write after reading the terrible review for Castallack Farm. I am truly shocked at this review and feel the need to write in defence to say that I have stayed in the B&B and Tremerth cottage and we are booked again this year. Believe me if this location were terrible I would not be returning like other... More

We stayed in a twin room with comfortable beds, everything we could want. Fridge just outside the room so that we were provided with fresh milk rather than long life pots. Lovely breakfast and delightful hosts. We went for 2 nights and stayed for 4. We knew that we could find nowhere which pleased us more.

Thank you so much for your review. the enjoyment of your stay is really important to us. We've had a full sized fridge for guest use for many years & it is used for sandwiches, soft drinks & wine. It's not in the room but in the corridor outside so really useful. As you say it contains real milk for... More

We booked this because of it's location as we were attending a family party nearby. Wow, did we fall on our feet? We stayed in the Bowgy with our dog. We had loads of space with a comfortable bedroom, a kitchen and a spacious bathroom. B and B was very reasonable and Rachel and Nick (and Tammy the collie) were... More

Thanks for taking the time to review our B&B. So pleased you enjoyed the location & the room but sorry The Bowgy isn't available any more so you won't be able to hear the TV. Breakfasts are cooked on & in the AGA with local produce including eggs from our 'happy hens' & we have a Breakfast award from Visit... More

Our first visit to Cornwall without children, and the sun shone, so we did all the things we wanted to do! The Bowgy Room was an ideal base - beautifully furnished with the added advantage of kitchenette facilities and a superb bathroom with lovely toiletries. Lovely breakfasts. Nick was particularly helpful in advising of local walks and coastal areas to... More

Thank you for your good review. Glad you enjoyed your stay & glad that you enjoyed the lovely walks there are in this 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty'. Although we don't let The Bowgy anymore the toiletries in our other rooms are the same as are our delicious breakfasts. More

We had a lovely time staying here again (10th visit!). Rachel and Nick were very hospitable (as always) and the welcoming flowers, local chocolate and lemon drizzle cake were much appreciated! We stayed in March 2013, and the cottage was warm, dry and clean (as always). This is our favourite holiday cottage. The cottages are always relaxing, and very peaceful... More

Thank you for a lovely review. Tremerth Cottage is the smaller of our two cottages, sleeps two and is perfect for a relaxing, lazy romantic holiday should you wish. With full central heating and a woodburner in the lounge you are likely to be warm as toast and that's without turning on the electric blanket. The cottage is situated just... More

Our 3rd visit and we have now 'sampled' all of the available accommodation.... Both cottages and the B&B. As always, an extremely warm welcome from Rachel - the offer of tea and cake was very much appreciated after arriving cold and wet. Tremerth cottage was as all previously tried and tested accommodation, clean and well equipped. The furnishings are of... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review about your stay with us. Hello jillym007, Thank you very much for your review. So glad you enjoyed your stay & your dog enjoyed it too. We are really well situated for the Minack & may of our customers go to The Minack & then spend a few more days in the area exploring. Thanks for your reccommendation. Best wishes More
