We stayed here for just 1 night but I know the area very well. Beautiful farmhouse in a tiny hamlet. Very close to both Mousehole and Lamorna Cove. Plenty of beautiful walking available on the coastal path or inland. The room itself was very comfortable with a lovely ensuite bathroom. You also had access to a beautiful living area where... We just came back from a fantastic Valentines weekend at Castallack Farm B&B. Rooms were comfortable and clean, Nick and Rachel went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Would be back again in a heart beat!

Visiting for the New Years period, we had an excellent stay at Castallack Farm. The self catering cottage has every conceivable necessity and gadget to make your stay hassle free. The location is peaceful and surrounded by beautiful Cornish countryside. There is wifi available in the cottage, though only a weak mobile phone signal (which can be a significant blessing)!... Thank you very much for your review. Peace, tranquillity and natural beauty are all around us, and yes our two cottages are well equipped and in the winter are as warm as toast with woodburners and central heating. Best wishes More

Thank you very much for your review. Yes, the cottages are comfortable, warm and cosy and the walks from our doorstep are many and varied plus we are close to the South West Coast Path. Perfect for humans and their four legged friends. Best wishes More

This farm is a haven of peace in the small hamlet of Castallack, off the beaten track but near to Lamorna Cove in the Land's End Peninsula. The hosts are helpful and friendly, the house and property clean and tidy and the breakfasts have an interesting and varied menu to choose from. The bedrooms (there are two - and there... More

I had to write after reading the terrible review for Castallack Farm. I am truly shocked at this review and feel the need to write in defence to say that I have stayed in the B&B and Tremerth cottage and we are booked again this year. Believe me if this location were terrible I would not be returning like other... More

We stayed in a twin room with comfortable beds, everything we could want. Fridge just outside the room so that we were provided with fresh milk rather than long life pots. Lovely breakfast and delightful hosts. We went for 2 nights and stayed for 4. We knew that we could find nowhere which pleased us more.

Thank you so much for your review. the enjoyment of your stay is really important to us. We've had a full sized fridge for guest use for many years & it is used for sandwiches, soft drinks & wine. It's not in the room but in the corridor outside so really useful. As you say it contains real milk for... More

We booked this because of it's location as we were attending a family party nearby. Wow, did we fall on our feet? We stayed in the Bowgy with our dog. We had loads of space with a comfortable bedroom, a kitchen and a spacious bathroom. B and B was very reasonable and Rachel and Nick (and Tammy the collie) were... More

Thanks for taking the time to review our B&B. So pleased you enjoyed the location & the room but sorry The Bowgy isn't available any more so you won't be able to hear the TV. Breakfasts are cooked on & in the AGA with local produce including eggs from our 'happy hens' & we have a Breakfast award from Visit... More

Our first visit to Cornwall without children, and the sun shone, so we did all the things we wanted to do! The Bowgy Room was an ideal base - beautifully furnished with the added advantage of kitchenette facilities and a superb bathroom with lovely toiletries. Lovely breakfasts. Nick was particularly helpful in advising of local walks and coastal areas to... More

We had a lovely time staying here again (10th visit!). Rachel and Nick were very hospitable (as always) and the welcoming flowers, local chocolate and lemon drizzle cake were much appreciated! We stayed in March 2013, and the cottage was warm, dry and clean (as always). This is our favourite holiday cottage. The cottages are always relaxing, and very peaceful... More

Thank you for a lovely review. Tremerth Cottage is the smaller of our two cottages, sleeps two and is perfect for a relaxing, lazy romantic holiday should you wish. With full central heating and a woodburner in the lounge you are likely to be warm as toast and that's without turning on the electric blanket. The cottage is situated just... More
