Just returned from a weeks stay at this hotel on an AI plan. Travelled with a friend and two younger ladies. Manzanillo airport- small with 4 gates for departures. You can leave secure area for a smoke which is always a bonus. There is nothing but a small Duty free store, mostly alcohol and candy no cigs or cigars. also... More

Just returned from 3 days at the Grand Bay. Long drive in if travelling by car but unique when you get there. A grand older hotel that still gives service like one. Saying that they also charge for anything extra. 2 small bottles of water in the room 75 pesos. Don't even consider the mini bar. Booked the cheapest deluxe... More

Just returned from our 8th consecutive year visiting Isla Navidad and staying at the beautiful Grand (Bay) Hotel. My wife and I definitely plan to return with the kids. We first discovered the Hotel on our Honeymoon over 10 years ago where we fell in love with the place and now return every year with our children. It is an... More

Meh, it was a pretty place with nothing really going for it. The only beach was a van ride away and if you want to go there you'll have to go to town to buy your own cooler and drinks because the hotel won't help you with this and they've got a bathroom over there but nothing else. Fortunately, the... More

The hotel is located in a secluded area some 30 minutes north of Manzanillo; getting there is not an easy drive, signals to the hotel and "Isla Navidad" are quite scarce, and you can get lost easily if you are not familiar with the area. However, once we got to the hotel, we liked it very much. We were greeted... More

We just spent 2 days at the Grand Bay Hotel. It looks like it could have been a beautiful place but there are no ocean views. There is a view of the lake next to it. The whole property looks like a big, "Oops!" It would have been great if it had been built on the Ocean or Beach. There... More

This is a beautiful hotel with great views of the Lagoon. Do not expect ocean views or a beach. Very good breakfast buffet. Rooms are very spacious. If you like privacy, ask for the upper section that has a smaller, more quiet pool, although you have to take a couple of elevators to get there.

This hotel flies under the radar because of its size ( only 200 rooms) and the lack of very many direct flights to Manzanillo, but if you can handle a stopover in Acapulco or peurto Vallarta for an hour or so depending on the time you will find a special treat. The hotel is warm and comfortable made that way... More

This is a luxury property that is busy from December thur March. The rooms, facilities, and amenities are superb. It's very private but has easy access to the small, charming town of Barra de Navidad via motor launch. Fronting the hotel is a marina and nearby is a stunning 27-hole golf course. During the high-season it is too costly for... More
