We went in for lunch and sat in the lovely gardens. I have never had savoury scones before so tried brie, cranberry and ham scone and it was served with a lovely salad. It was delicious .My friend had salmon and cream cheese on hers and my daughter had a delicious slice of freshly made cake. I would thoroughly recommend... More

After reading good reviews about St Benets abbey we decided to book a room for a midweek overnight stay as we were visiting the eden project and celebrating our anniversary. I had emailed the owner to check which room we would be staying in just out of interest after seeing the pictures on their website and was satisfied with the... More

Hi Sarah, Thank you for your kind words. We're really pleased you enjoyed your time here and were able to make the most of your "child free" days. We hope to be able to welcome you back again in the future. Take care x More

Good choice for our B and B stopover. Lots of history and our hosts were working so hard to ensure guests have a comfortable stay. Our room was spotless and the bed linen and towels top quality. High standard breakfast with various options and all cooked to order. A warm welcome from great hosts.

What an absolutely stunning venue, so much History! on arrival our greeting couldn't of been better, a warm and friendly welcome from Lynn and JJ Jones. As we arrived in the afternoon, and it was sunny, we sat in the garden with them and enjoyed a wonderful Cream Tea and we learnt about the Abbey and their plans for the... More

St.Benet's is an ideal place to stay after a day visiting the Eden Project. From making the booking and being welcomed and shown to our room by Lynn I was very impressed. The superior room was large, clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was of a very high standard and I was very pleased to be served with fresh cafetiere... More

We stayed here for one night on our way down to Falmouth and arrived late in the evening. The owner was welcoming and sensitive to the fact we might be tired and want to go straight to our room. We were on the ground floor with a view of the tower and were keen to ask JJ about the history... More

Well what can I say? From the outset, JJ & Lynn were more than helpful. We had a dilemma with transport at all ends for our one way (Cycle, Foot & Kayak) trip. JJ offered to drop us at both ends, making sure our vehicle and kit were where we wanted & when. Accommodation perfectly adequate, they joined two rooms... More

This is an amazing place to stay...... Loads of history, quaint, very clean, beautifully furnished, fab food and to add to that wonderful people who own and run this family B&B. We loved the company of JJ who made our evening with great stories of the Abbey as well as being able to enjoy a little time with their lovely... More

We decided to stay at St Benet's Abbey at short notice, having previously stayed there 10 years ago. The booking was handled very efficiently over the phone and we were warmly welcomed on our arrival by owners Lynn & JJ. In the light of another review, we were offered the chatty version or the quiet version of JJ - we... More
