Stayed here 7th-14th August with 6 of my friends, all of us 17 year old girls. Steve and Jane were both lovely and extremely helpful with anything we needed. We stayed in the 6-bed room 2 and one friend in room 1. Our room was nice and cozy with bunk beds and our own bathroom, all clean and enough space... More

1) Extremely friendly owner. 2) Excellent location. 3) Clean rooms and clean sheets. 4) Homely feeling. 5) Clean washrooms. My initial booking was for 2 nights, but I liked the place so much that I got it extended for 1 more day. Steve was an amazing host and was very helpful.

I was in this part of the world for the first time for a wedding and because of a booking mix up had ended up here. I travelled a long way to attend the wedding and owner Steve was very helpful with recommendations for travel plans. I find the hostel not only homely but extremely welcoming and the highlight of... Its those little things you don't think about that make the difference. Ample plug sockets, a place to put muddy boots and wet surfware food whenever you come and go, coffee, tea at anytime of the day. Friendly, nice warm rooms with clean sheets and 2 pillows each. My brother has a house a 'Stones Throw' away (the name of... More

The place is really nice and ideally located. Beds are comfy, breakfast is included and generous. The host, Steve, is extremely nice and accommodating. I'll definitely go back and would recommend it to anyone spending a few days in Cornwall.

Very friendly and helpful owner who made sure we had everything we needed. Not a 5* luxury place but perfect to stay and surf! They have a kitchen to make your breakfast before going out for the day and fresh coffee which we took in a flask, it is ideal for access to North cornwall beaches.

Stayed with my wife in a nice ensuite, great hot tub on decking out the back, also had a couple beers with the owners, who were very kind and recommended a nice place for dinner. Homely feel and a short walk to the beach.

We marvelously stayed in the hostel for four days and the owner Steve and Jane were so kind. Steve welcomed us as a father and the atmosphere was really friendly. The kitchen is the place where all the backpackers have the opportunity to share their thoughts and listen to Steve who is more than a Cornwall guide. We appreciated the... More
