We stayed here in a friends static caravan which isn't our usual kind of holiday but we loved it. The location is everything, you cannot beat the views and walks so much better than some other sites near by. Definitely worth a weekend break. We have eaten at the bar on a previous occasion and it was nice. Nothing amazing... More

This summer I briefly visited my daughter who was camping. I was completely unaware of cameras and tiny hidden away notices threatening fines in the absence of a parking ticket. Several months later I received threatening letters demanding £90, stating that a previous demand for a lesser amount had not been paid. No previous letter had been sent. There was... More

I stayed here in my little camper van at the end of October, in a sea view pitch. It was fabulous - wild and windy and exhilarating. There aren't many places with this kind of view or exposure to the elements. In the morning my dog and I walked down to Durdle Door, and we were able to swim on... More

I have just returned from my annual "pilgrimage " to Durdle Door.I guess life is all about opinions but to be honest I have to fundamentally take issue with much of the previous report.I discovered this site during the World Cup of 86 and have returned every year to either camp take a caravan or now a pod."Glamping" as the... The site was advertised as having level pitches, and although each one were larger than standard the extraordinary angle of the pitches in Abbeyfield hastened the need for double vehicle ramps. Also, with the ground being wet made it difficult to manoeuvre into position. I web-booked in August and received no confirmation, either by email or phone. I had to... More
