It's rare for us to come back to the same place twice, but well worth a second visit. Lovely comfortable accomodation. A working rural setting, with sheep, cows and chickens around the farm. Thank you Sarah & all at Launceston farm

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at Launceston Farm. We received a wonderful welcome with tea and cake overlooking stunning fields. Our room was beautiful, with amazing countryside views. It's clear that a lot of thought has been put into the whole place. Everything was immaculately clean, we had everything we needed and there were some really sweet finishing... More

Launceston Farm is perfect to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. It is a boutique B&B but also a working farm, which means that the produce for breakfast couldn't be fresher! Sarah takes perfect care of her guests and the small touches throughout are always spot on. She also has great knowledge of the area, and recommended dinner... More

Weonly stayed one night but wish it had been more. Delightful surroundings, very friendly welcome, house decorated with much skill and style, a cosy guest sitting room with a roaring fire, delicious breakfast and great beds. Ten out of ten!

This B and B is a true gem and I highly recommend it to those seeking a relaxing break from the hustle and bustle of city life. We knew from the moment we arrived that we had made the right choice. From the delicious organic breakfasts to the beautifully furnished bedrooms, Launceston house is absolutely beautiful. It is obvious just... More

Launceston Farm is absolutely charming and the owner was very welcoming and helpful. We were welcomed into the lounge, where there was a roaring fire and given tea and home made fruit cake. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We were so impressed that we will be coming back and hopefully, later this year.

Six of us have just returned from a 2 night stay whilst we visited Salisbury's Christmas market. You must note that this establishment is associated with the Wolsey Lodges chain and as such is a working home and not a plastic regimented hotel/service station. As such you are asked to arrive after 4.00 pm -no problems. We were warmly greeted... More

We had an enjoyable couple of days here. Our room overlooked the garden, and had a massive bathroom with freestanding bath and armchair. It was cosy and warm on some drizzly October days. We were made to feel very welcome on arrival by Sarah and enjoyed tea and cake. Looking forward to returning again next summer.

For those looking for a real country experinece this is the place. It is in a fantastic location surrounded by wonderful Dorset countryside. It has somethig that others strive to create, but here it comes so naturally. It is clearly run by people who want to offer the best of the new (great bathroom with super walk-in shower) while retaining... More

In a nut shell, this place has the makings of something great. However with all the good will in the world, the owner can at best, be described as defensive. Basically if you want a place to sleep, you arrive in your one hour time frame and you don't ask questions you should be fine. If you want a warm... More

I am sorry to hear that you felt you were unwelcome at Launceston Farm. That was not my intention at all. We ask guests to specify their arrival time to ensure that a member of the family is here to welcome them. We try to accommodate later or earlier arrivals as best we can and I am always available on... More
