Just celebrated a 70th birthday party, only three words to describe the Frampton Arms and the staff. Simply The Best. The owner John and his delightful wife Jeanette made us so welcome and ALL of the staff ensured that this special evening was one we would always remember. The food was excellent, in my opinion, the best in Dorset and... More

This is the third time that we have stayed at The Frampton, and we would like to say a big 'thank you' to John, Jeanette and their team following our seven day stay down in Dorset. We have now stayed in all three rooms and once again have enjoyed our stay, with fantastic food, lovely accommodation and great hospitality shown... More

Service was very poor and we were not warned that there would be such a long wait. It took 2 hours to complete our meal at lunch time with the restaurant only partly filled By the time we got to our sweet the chef had gone home and not all sweets could be provided. My liquor coffee came out as... More

We stayed in a local campsite with two dogs. When visiting the frampton arms on the first night we were told that dogs could go in the bar and the garden but no where else. The bar was lacking in character and seemed very clinical. No music but Fair enough we thought we do have dogs and there are some... More

We visited this pub whilst staying at a local campsite. We arrived very late, but the staff we're welcoming, and managed to squeeze us in to the busy restaurant. The food was excellent. We returned the next day and the service and food were still excellent. We would definitely return.

We booked the Frampton Arms for a visit to Monkey World . The staff were very friendly and the rooms were of a good standard . The breakfast was really good . The evening menu was really good with lots of choice and the food of a high standard . No problems with the railway hardly noticed it .

We booked into the Frampton Arms for the duration of tank fest. We were met with a friendly greeting and shown to a well set out and spotlessly clean room. After settling in we decided to explore, been right next to the station was perfect with easy access to local towns and places of interest. Each morning cooked breakfasts or... More

The menu was a cut above the norm, with meals in all price classes. We all enjoyed our meals, but found the noise of the level-crossing and trains annoying. The staff were very friendly and efficient.
