This was our hotel for a week of walking and is situated so that there are several good walks right from the door and many gems to visit within easy driving distance. The staff are all friendly and efficient and he rooms are clean and tidy. The pool is very good and so is their restaurant. Not good were the... More

Dear Mr. Maxim123153 thank you for your wonderful review. I appreciate your suggestion about the breakfast and we will think about an increase of the hot food side. Our choice is to allow to our guest to have a Tuscan Breakfast (usually with sweet food) with some extra add. thank you and see you soon Fabrizio D'Ascenzi More

We wer etwa times in this Relais. Very friendly and helpful personell. The surrounding of the relais is a wonderful park. The rooms are due to the fact that the whole building was a farm house a bit small but sufficient. Breakfast was good, rich offer of food and cappuccino. We will come back, maybe for mountain biking.

Stayed for 2 days in June. The place is fantastic in the beautiful Tuscan countryside not far from small villages: Montemarano, Pitigliano. The staff was friendly and helpful, the swimming pool clean, with a fantastic view. And the restaurant La Limonaia serves excellent food with many ingredients and the wine from their own fields. We had asked for a no... More

We spent just one night and really enjoyed the stay, notwithstanding the cloudy and rainy days. The staff is extremely careful and attentive: we also received a bottle of red wine from their winery! Room was ok, breakfast tasty and fresh. Unfortunately we had no chances to try the swimming pool, maybe next time...

This hotel, where we stayed two nights, was the highlight of our walking holiday. The staff were lovely, especially Christina from Reception and Adelade in the Restaurant. The hotel has 33 Ha of vineyards and farm so grows its own produce. The buildings, the surroundings and the room were extremely stylish, the evening meals a gastronomic experience. At night, the... Stayed for three days in September. Our room stank of smoke, we asked if we could be moved, manager said we would have to pay for an upgrade to a non-smoking room. Two nights was all we could take in the room and after some very unpleasant haggling agreed to split the upgrade cost for the final night. Had I... More

We have just returned from 10 days in the lovely, family run, Villa Acquaviva as part of a walking holiday with Headwater. We stayed for a week in this wonderful place - and were, due to the early time of the year, almost the only guests. We had one of the Deluxe Rooms (which could be a bit more spacious) but was lovely decorated and we had a wonderful terrace overlooking the vineyards, with a view to Montemerano. Don´t miss to visit... More

Beautiful location, fantastic view from the window even though it's march. Very homey and comfortable place. We stayed only one night, but I definitely recommend this little peaceful Tuscan gem. I think it's even greater in summer. Thank you, Emanuele and Lisa
