The hotel has a good location, albeit if you are first time in Puebla, you may struggle with orientation. Rooms are very spacious with high ceiling. They have a free parking. They have a restaurant with a buffet breakfast and other meals as well. The food is ... edible. They have a screeching wooden floor. Which is quite annoying, if... More

The place is a fantastically renovated 2 or 3 century old house, the staff is very nice and always looking to please you. The rooms have a lot of charm and all of them have a particular decoration style. My only observation is that the buffet starts at 8am which is very late, if you are on business travel a... More

This is easily one of the most beautiful boutique hotels I have stayed in my lifetime of traveling. This ancient house in the heart of the beautiful old city of Puebla can make you feel amazingly happy from the moment you enter its cavernous doorway. From the beautiful courtyard (ideal for hanging out during the glutinous breakfasts served to lazy... More

the rooms and amenities are fine. std rooms small.staff helpful and a nice stay. facilities and location good.my rating is influenced by the room size. it is close to 4 star. with boutique hotels there no elevators and mexico is stairs everywhere .I would stay again but only in a upgraded room to accommodate luggage.

I was about to give this lovely hotel 5 stars, until today when I found my debit card had been double charged for almost $600. Both the original "hold" and then again on departure. I have traveled in several continents in the past several decades and cannot recall this happening in literally hundreds of hotel stays. I was shocked that... More

Had a buffet breakfast in this nice colonial court close to the town's main square (zocalo). Very good food and service, live music well played. The place is also known for the statue of a Mexican woman in traditional dress. Totally worth it, if you are nearby don't miss it!

A dream house from the XVI Century, boutique hotel. A block away from the Zocalo (Central Park). Very nice rooms, beautifully decorated, antique furniture. Good service. The hotel has a nice restaurant for breakfast and dinner. On breakfast, a large buffet with at least 6 Mexican food options. On dinner, Fridays and Saturdays, they have live music, serving Pueblan dishes... More

This is a very nice hotel, full of chracter and in a central position just a step away from the historic main square. We booked via the hotel website and were able to choose specififc rooms. Our room was one of the cheaper ones, San du Juan Caterina, but it was spacious with a seating area, light, well equipped and... More

Puebla is one of the most attractive colonial cities in Mexico, and this hotel is in one of the most attractive buildings near the centre. Our room was of high quality, spacious and attractively furnished and equipped. The bathroom facilities were top-class. The courtyard restaurant served excellent breakfasts, and also other meals - which we didn't sample as the evening... More
