While I was staying in the hotel some of my property got stolen. I had a small pretty purse with me, that I did not need while going out one day, and I left it on the bed under my backbag. I put it there to hide it from the open view. Luckily the purse contained just 25 USD and... More

El Hotelito is a very comfortable hotel to stay at. I have previously stayed at the Best Western Puebla, and to be honest I prefer El Hotelito 100 percent. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone. It is literally 7 minutes from El Zocalo. The best part of the Hotel is Arturo. He is always available and goes above and... More

El Hotelito is a rustic & stylish looking hotel which is located about 5-10 mins from el Zocalo and other streets good for shopping and entertainment. That is a big bonus especially if you're on foot. My room was big and comfortable and always clean! The Staff at the Hotelito from the receptionists to the cleaning crew were excellent, attentive,... This is my second time staying with the El Hotelito (see July 5, 2012) and while I still recommend the Hotelito, room #1 (bottom floor) does need some work. The hotel and the staff is great and right down the road from the Centro and the price can't be beat. Beds are still rock hard but the wifi was good... More

Having read good reviews, we were disappointed. Rooms were dark and smelled very bad. Drains backed up. Damp walls. Positives - free parking and fairly good location. Reasonable value. Unfortunately lots of investment required to improve.

We liked the location and found the staff helpful. We also really liked the patio and colors! However, it's true that while the beamed ceiling was cool and the tiled bathroom was, as well, there are some problems. Very dim lighting in the room, well-worn bedding, door with transom to patio and also to the next room--things like that. Plus,... More

My stay at this property was supposed to be two days but due to sleep deprivation, we stayed only one night. Road construction in front of the hotel started at 2am complete with jack hammering that lasted ALL night long. The hotel is cute if you're looking for something rustic and very old. The beamed ceilings must be nearly 20... More

I loved the colours of this hotel, orange and purple and also the local ceramic tiles which were everywhere including in the sinks. The staff were very friendly and as a Spanish speaker I loved the fact that they never answered me in English when I was speaking Spanish! Amazing location, near the centre and with a great bar at... My room was tiny, dominated by a bed that could sleep three (don't get any ideas!) and covered by a zebra stripe bedspread. With the purple wall behind it the décor suggested a man cave, 1980's style (bring your own Iron Maiden). But there was something, compelling, cute and cozy about this room and in the evenings it was always... More

We stayed at El Hotelito about 2 years ago and we really liked it! Nice, Clean, Confy and Cheap! This was our second time at El Hotelito and we were very pleased with everything and happy because of the improvements! New color (loved the purple one), new beds, new flat TV screens (not in everyroom yet) but the same prices!!!... More
