Situated near the top of the Avenue Juarez, this cozy spot is ideal if you want to see the city on foot. The area is well-to-do with plenty of trendy bars and classy restaurants. The many students/universities nearby add to lively atmosphere. the b'n'b is run by friendly and informative family who know puebla well. The breakfast was varied each... More

We had 4 very pleasant nights here, well looked after by the family that run it and enjoyed our visit to Puebla. One disadvantage is that it is an hour walk to the centre of Puebla along busy roads or 15 mins in a taxi. Compensations are the varied and really good Mexican breakfasts and the friendly, informal atmosphere, talking... More

I was in Puebla for a week, on a business trip.. I had tons of appointments, lasting all day long - and then long-distance grad school projects that kept me awake into the late late evenings. The Stones made me feel so comfortable in their home. I honestly felt like a part of their family. I can't thank them enough... More

You should know at the very beginning this not my first time here. These people who are here for youmake you comfortable. My flight always comes in late to the local airport, and there's always someone here to greet me. If my flight leaves very very early in the morning, they set an alarm, and come down, and let me... My sister and I needed two beds and a window that opened. In our room (one of two) we had a cross-breeze from two windows. There were fresh flowers in the room, bottles of water, and a TV. Breakfast was cooked by chef Yaz, a graduate of the Puebla culinary institute. The hosts, Richard and Lucia, checked with us on... More

We spent three nights staying at this most welcoming B&B. From the moment we arrived, we were so graciously greeted and made to feel at home. It was clearly a situation of "my home is your home". Our room was very comfortable and we slept well. It was quiet even though we were in the city. The location is residential... More

Lucia and Richard, and their sons, certainly went out of their way to make me feel like a welcomed guest. I was there for 7 days and conversation around the breakfast table was always stimulating. Breakfast itself was outstanding.

We really enjoyed meeting Richard and Lucia and they were so helpful to us even though we only were able to stay one night. They went above and beyond to help us arrange our travels on to the airport in Mexico City, making calls for us, etc. It was a real pleasure to get acquainted with them and exchange stories.... More

Staying at B&B La Paz made our weeklong stay in Puebla a very special experience. Richard , Lucia , and their sons treated us like members of their family and were warm, attentive and always unstinting in providing whatever information or assistance we needed. The house is clean and comfortable, and the breakfasts, prepared by a culinary school graduate, were... More

Puebla La Paz IS the place to stay while visiting Puebla. Richard, Lucia, and their two sons are the perfect hosts who know how to make their guests feel welcome. They are a helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly family. We appreciated the many valuable tips and help arranging everything from a taxi to tickets to an archeological site. Indeed, prior to... More
