OK.. So you've seen the pictures of the stunning entrance way. That is not the way the rest of the hotel looks. The rest of the hotel is pretty much a Holiday Inn. (Indeed the nonworking heating- AC apparatus hanging on the wall still had its Holiday Inn sticker on it.) Its renovation is very dated already. Still, you feel... More

Just a few blocks from the zocalo and with great prices this is the place I will stay when I go back to Puebla. Room are very clean and with a great view. Cable did not work great, but we were not there to watch TV. Hotel has a pool, great for the hot spring days.

I booked this room without reading any reviews because of short notice. When I got on Tripadvisor to write my review I was really surprised about the negative things I read. My experience was really positive! Upon arriving we found the entrance to be very beautiful! The security and bellhops were very friendly and assisted us with our luggage. The... More

The hotel is close to the Zocalo; The lobby is stunning; a very elegant entrance. The rooms are basic, but comfortable. The restaurant is expensive for breakfast. It would be a good place for an elegant dinner. Staff was helpful with planning a tour. Good view of the church roofs from the 5th floor.

Stayed 2 nights. Stunning entrance. This is a stately mansion located in the historical centre. We stayed in room 1105 separate wing, first floor, no elevator. Room is small. Two single beds. Airco is smack over the headstand of one bed. No way to have it on while somebody is in the bed. You can open the window for fresh... More

The hotel is a block away from the main town square- the Zocalo Puebla. The Zocalo is a beautiful square with a huge church on one end and tons of restaurants surrounding it. The room was clean but very basic. The shower was actually very nice and the room was quiet at night. There is actually a rooftop laying area... More

We just stayed one night and it was a short one. For us, this hotel was the first night in Mexico and a place to rest a bit after an eleven hour flight and before an eleven hour bus trip. We arrived in the middle of the night and the lobby is stunning. It is true that the rooms are... More

Puebla is one of the most beautiful colonial cities in the Americas, and the IXX Century mansion that houses the San Leonardo, located a short walk from the main plaza is not only a good hotel, it marvelously reflects the colonial character of its time and the city. Great service. Rooms are ample but they need decor and appointments. By... More

I stayed at this hotel with a group. It was not our initial choice but as it was a holiday weekend there were only a few options. The lobby is beautiful and gives a very colonial feel. The rooms are very plain, I was somewhat disappointed as I was expecting something with more character given the photos online and the... More

I got stolen 400 euros plus my wallet containing other currencies, they were both in my luggage and the manager does not even apologizes and says that there is anything to do since the money and wallet were not reported immediately, please do not trust this hotel, having reported that immediately would mean, to suspect ao an ilegal action, I...
