Very well located small hotel. Good dining room. Pleasant and good service. I have been returning to this hotel for years and see the same loyal employees each time. I plan to continue using this comfortable hotel and recommend that you do also.

We arrived to this beautiful hotel in a old colonia building around 10.30 a.m. Our room was not yet ready but we were very well welcomed by the receptioniste at the lobby. We received instead a very beautiful family, double floor room at the second floor above the main entry to the hotel. It was like a dream for us... More

from the beginning of the booking until the end of our short stay, everything went so smooth. I made the booking via the phone and also received an email confirming my booking. We arrived in the evening ,the hotel is an old building with a lot of character , our room was on the third floor , it was a... More

Hotel Colonial is without doubt a beautiful building and is located only a block away from Puebla´s main square, so close in fact that to me it doesn’t seem worth spending the extra simply to be right on the Zócalo, as majestic as it is. The area is perfectly safe, even in the small hours, and is full of wonderful... More

What a place! In the center of Puebla, one of the oldest buildings in town. Charming, big rooms. Lovely courtyard, roof terrace with view to the volcano. The restaurant served the best mole I have ever tasted. The only minus: the sofa groups outside the rooms unfortunately invited certain people to sit and chat loudly until 4am, just outside our... Located just a half block from the beautiful Puebla zocolo where you'll find fountains, the city's principal cathedral, and within easy walking distance to the Parian Market and other fine shops in the City of Puebla. Built as a Jesuit monastery in 1698, this well-cared-for building has served as a hotel and restaurant since the middle of the 19th century.... More

Built in 1865....so don't expect a plush hotel. We loved it! When we arrived from the airport, the taxi driver dropped us off on the street, pointed and said "That's your hotel." So we carried our luggage half a block. When we entered, a very pleasant young man was happy to take us up on the oldest working elevator in... More

The Colonial Hotel in Puebla Mexico is an great place to stay while in Puebla. Just two blocks off the Zocalo in the zona historica. The staff are very good, helpful and were very patient with my ' espanol paquito' . Beds were little firm for our liking. I would stay here again.

We stayed here for three weeks, and were given a high-ceilinged, spacious room with a small balcony overlooking the pedestrian walkway at the front of the hotel. There was always plenty of hot water, and no flooding after a shower. Adequate storage, though not abundant. Good room service. Wifi worked reliably. The staff willingly operated the tiny antique elevator to... More

Colonial hotel in an excellent location. All the major attractions of the center of the city are easy to reach by foot. The rooms are tasteful decorated and some have nice small balconies to the street, where you can enjoy sometimes street artists. The hotel offers also free parking, although it did cost me some trouble to find the entrance... More
