It is located right around the corner from the central square, surrounded by a variety of restaurants and antique and candy shops. The zone is safe, there's policemen everywhere. However, I found it uncomfortable for the price. The beds, for example, were hard, the cable did not work well: not a single tv station could be seen clearly, and the... More

I chose this hotel based on location and the price. I arrived, front desk spoke little English (if that matters). I requested a room looking outside. I was given a room that had a little balcony that faced the side street, not the square which was fine with me. However, the room was not at all updated, it was old... More

The most horrible hotel we stayed in in Mexico. The rooms are old and run-down and mine had no external window so I felt like I was in a prison cell. The bed was the hardest I have ever slept on - the tiled floor would have provided a more restful sleep. Food at dinner and breakfast was awful. Service... More

Very well located near the Cathedral, main plaza, and all kind of transportation. Employees speak English and are always trying to see you feel comfortable. The restaurant is great with classical Mexican food but also American dishes. The breakfast has a lot of Mexican pastries that are just delicious, Wi/Fi and also computers for the guests. A lot of information... More

Good hotel, very clean and right at the main square. Rooms with view to the Zócalo are beautiful, but having a view to the street is ok, as buildings have beautiful architecture. Breakfast is included (coffee, fruit or juice, eggs, bread), but access to the buffet in the morning is extra. Wifi is free and of good quality, and the... More

The hotel is centrally located, right at the main square. What I loved about it - the employees very very nice and friendly, unlike in many hotels were the service is not so great. There was a bit of noise from the street, as our room was in front of the plaza, but it's normal, we didn't complain. It was... More

We've just spent two nights at this hotel. The staff were very good! We had booked through a tour company and when we got to our room it had twin beds. We asked for a double bed and the staff happily accommodated us. The front desk seemed to have an English speaker on whenever we had a question and were... More

This hotel is in a perfect location, across the street from the Zocalo in the heart of Puebla. Everything is very close, including many outdoor restaurants. The city tours are less than a block away.. The hotel is an impressive looking historic building. The folks at the front desk were friendly and helpful. A decent breakfast was included. So far,... I have stayed in many budget hotels throughout Mexico and this is by far the worst. They promised breakfast was included, but failed to tell us the restaurant was closed New Years Day and didn't discount our rate. The front desk person was an unhelpful, smug idiot, and the wifi (only available in the lobby) was mysteriously out of service... More
