I stayed here for just one night, so location was more important than hotel ambience so I could walk the area surrounding the zocalo. The location doesn't disappoint. My room was typical of a 3 star accommodation... desk, bed, closet for clothing, in-suite bathroom. The particular room I had was very musty smelling, and perhaps that was because the jalousie... It's our third time staying here the view from our balcony is just wonderful you get full view of the cathedral which is beautiful. The only downside is that the noise could get overwelming at night, and there's very few electric sockets. But the view is worth it. If you visit Puebla for the first time I definetly recommend this... More

We booked two rooms overlooking the Zocalo a the Saturday & Sunday before Christmas, and loved it! The rooms were very spacious, comfortable and had balconies looking over the Zocalo and the Christmas market. Our rooms were on US 2nd (105) & 3rd (203) floor, the elevator worked fine (one person on a cane), Rather noisy, but we slept well... More

I should preface this by saying that we requested an interior room to the rear to put some distance between us and the noise of the Zocalo, which is directly across the street. So, perhaps the higher priced rooms with a Zocalo view are nicer, but... Our room was basic at best. I would guess the last refurbishing of the... More

I got a room with a small blacont directly overlooking the square and including breakfast for around 40 € over Xmas. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and although the room is not four stars, e.g. there is no hairdryer, this is an excellent option to start any exploration of beautiful Puebla. The breakfast buffet was also good and offered... More

The room was spacious, had a nice view of the plaza and cathedral, there was free bottled water and hot water for showering, but that's the only good thing about this hotel. Cleaning was basic at best and there was crusted-on dirt around the bathroom tub/shower. Very poor wifi connection in rooms, constantly cutting out, I had to sit in... More

We stayed at the Hotel Royalty in Puebla mid-March 2014. We chose this hotel because of its location and reviews on Tripadvisor and Orbitz On our arrival, we were upgraded to a junior suite, because I had requested in my reservation with Orbitz a room facing the Zocalo. We were not charged extra for the upgrade; how we enjoyed opening... More

We were in Puebla 2 years ago and sdtayed here. We ended up staying in a junior suite because I was treating my wife to a new town in Mexico, we've been going to Acapulco and doing side trips for 28 years in a row, and the price was very resonable. What a beautiful room! Very spaciaus and a balcony... More

It wasn't my choice, we travelled with the group. I liked the hotel, it's lobby and interior, but the room was very small, and the bathroom had a window to the corridor, so you have to be careful to close your curtains. If wouldn't have stay there However the opposite room with the zocalo view that we saw next morning,... More
