We just spent 3 nights there and truly enjoyed our room there (no.8): very spacious, clean and filled with eclectic antiques. The bright pink patio was also very enjoyable to have meals. The restaurant was pretty good for Mexican food but there were few salads - just fyi. The staff was overall very helpful and courteous except for one grumpy... More

Our experience in Mesón Sacristía was incredible. The room was like a part of a museum, with lots of nice furniture and very nice pieces, we especially like the Puebla's style vase. The staff was incredible helpful, the restaurant is just down the stairs of your room. Breakfast was specially good. We really enjoy our stay in Mesón and we... More

We were very disappointed to have something disappear from our room. The staff were not helpful to resolve the issue. This should not happen at a boutique hotel. If ui were the manager, I would take this seriously.

Dear Paula. Thank you for staying with us and take the time to write this review. I am the manager of the hotel and I am very concerned about these comments. To all our guests without exception we give an evaluation format on our service and this allows me to know if there was a problem with some guest. Would... More

I travelled for a month in Mexico. This was the best hotel I got: 1. Only where internet works; 2. No crazy stupid charges; 3. Late check out and early check in; 4. Late breakfast almost lunch; 5. Beautiful location, valet service. Meson is a beautiful colonial house turned to hotel. It's really small, with a beautiful courtyard. Breakfast is... More

We had the place to ourselves but the food was fine. We had a selection of 5 different Mole's sauces - see photo. It was fun and not terribly expensive. They were cleaning the floor when we were there so we had to put up with this guy pushing water around our feet while we're trying to relax. (see photo)... More

This is a charming boutique hotel near the Zocalo. The rooms are situated about a courtyard which is full of antiques. The restaurant is in the courtyard. Noise was not a problem. It is near many of the attractions in Puebla. Friendly, helpful staff.

I recently spent three nights at the Meson Sacristia de la Compania. This is a very small, charming hotel that is extremely well located. The staff is very friendly. You can walk to most attractions, with very little effort. The hotel is furnished with antiques (which are apparently for sale, since the place seems to be a shop for antiquities,... More

This has been one of my favorite restaurants in the world for the last 4 years. It is always a pleasure to dine here. The negative reviews I see here seem to involve people who prefer modern, plastic places without the centuries-old beauty AND inconveniences that such a place will naturally have. If you value historical beauty, elegance and fantastic... More

That is the description of our hotel, in a good way. Sacristia is close to entire historical center, so everything is in walking distance. We travel with a white noise machine, so if you are bothered by the noise, consider that option. It worked for us. Our beds were very comfortable and our room well maintained. Breakfast is included, a... More
