My room was spacious, comfortable well appointed with intersting furniture and rugs and clean. The bathroom counter and the shower are both very large. The sink, made of Talaera stye cermaics is verya attractive. The restuarant is excellent. the location is very good - only a ten minute or so walk to the zocalo (plaza mayor.) The staff members are... More

Based on tripadvisor reviews, I had high expectations for Casareyna. The hotel was decent but not a fabulous 5. Pros: good location, fine restaurant, comfy bed, and all around clean. Cons: (1) Noise level can be a real problem. My first night I was assigned to a room overlooking the restaurant. The happy guests might just as well have been... More

From the moment we arrived and immediately greeted and assisted by the valet parking driver - to the warm greetings at the Front Desk, this hotel far exceeded our highest expectations! The mini-reception area with a refrigerator in our extra large room, the kingsize bed, the humungous bathrooms which were fitted with some beautiful, local artist-designed sink accessories, we got... Really nice spacious rooms, clean modern design with a historical touch. Excellent location and wonderful restaurant. The only thing that I would work on is how sound travels through the hallways, especially at night, if anyone is outside talking the noise travels right into the room. Wasn't a problem our first night but the second night a large group was... More

This is the first time that I am hesitant to write a review for a place that I’ve stayed at because I’m worried that after people read it, this gem of a hotel will become so popular I will have problems booking reservations at it in the future. You know, like a favorate secret restaurant that you’ve been going to... More

Hotel Casareyna is a small boutique hotel just outside of the historical center of Puebla, very near the Convention Center. What used to be an ancient house from the XVII century was renovated by famed mexican Architect Ricardo Legorreta and transformed into a beautiful 10 room hotel. We arrived past midnight but only a knock on the door, and a... More

This is an exceptional gem. Perfectly well priced, absolutely unmissable. Massive beautiful suites. They have gone for just 10 rooms, despite the fact that they could have put on 30. Instead each room is large and beautifully decorated. In fact the room was size of a 1 bed flat!! When we entered the room, there were 3 chaps in suits... More

I had no idea you could find a place like this in Puebla, I´ve been around the city staying in other hotels and this is clearly the best, the location is perfect to move around downtown. And seriously from the moment you arrive til´ the moment you leave the help and service cannot be compared. All the staff is really... More
